Bird vs. Wilkins duplicated by Pierce vs. James 4. Rex chapman's buzzer beater in the 1997 playoffs. 5. John Stockton's shot sending utah to their first NBA finals :-) 6. I'd have put the 1972 mens olympics game with the USSR being given 3 tries to beat the US and then being allowed to commit an offensive foul to score the "winning" basket as my #1. Or what about Chris Webber calling time out when his team didn't have one? Then there were all the great matchups between Chamberlain and Russell. 1. Greatest Game: 1976 Final Boston & Phoenix 2. David Thompson scoring 73 points against the Pistons in 1978 and later that night the Iceman scoring 63 to edge DT out of the scoring title. 27.22 to 27.15. 1. Wilt Chamberlain scores 100 points 2.
