However in recent years the Cowboys under Jerry Jones have been making great strides in catching up to the Yankees as most hated. Jones like Steinbrenner has taken a once proud franchise and turned it into a sideshow. The convicts are now running the prison in Dallas. Yankees

Even if you are not a fan of a team like the Flyers or Browns or Titans, could really say they are the most hated team in sports all-time? It probably could only have the Yankees and Cowboys as choices and been legitimate. Yankees

But I guess no one in Houston is on fan IQ.

I see what you are saying. My point is that if you want the most hated (by the most people) nobody will likely come close to the Yankees, Cowboys and maybe the Patriots (although that is only on the past 8 years or so). I didn't answer with the team I hate the most, but rather the team I think is hated by the most people overall. Yankees
