Mother May I?

Thinking about Moms out there (no, not in that way).... with Mother's Day coming up Sunday, what is the best and/or worst advice you ever recieved from your Mom?

My mom shelled out some pretty sweet advice, most of which I didn't believe was true until after the drugs died off in the emergency room.

Mom, sorry I cost you so much money....I should've heeded your advice.

From one of my friends mom: How you got your man, is how you lose your man. This is in the case of cheating i assume so i listen to that very closely and choose accordingly. The Other

Life isn't too short; it's too long to live it miserably. So live a happy life doing things you love with the people you love and enjoy being with. *While it's wise to stash a little money away for emergencies, don't hoard it. Be as generous as you can with what you have - toward yourself and others. Spend it on things that make you happy, because you never know when you won't be around to enjoy it. This
