The last fiction book I read was Bradbury's: Fahrenheit 451.  As for non-fiction, it's been so long since I've read one cover to cover that I can't even remember....."Egil's Saga" comes to mind, but if it wasn't that saga, it was one of the other sagas from Old Icelandic literature.  My research has me jumping from various sections of different books....in that respect, I'm a "smorgasbord" reader of non-fiction.

I Was Right on Time by Buck O'Neil

Buck is someone that should be talked about like MLK Jr and Jackie Robinson. A great man and I wish my kids had been older when they met him. You deserve to be in the Baseball Hall of Fame, Buck, even if you say it was ok that they didn't vote you in with the rest of the Negro League Inductees. If there is a baseball hall of fame without Buck in it, its no hall of fame at all.

Rest in Peace, Buck

The last two books I read cover to cover were The Knowledge Deficit by E.D. Hirsch for a class, and Angels & Demons by Dan Brown for myself. But with almost half an hour commute each way, I also listen to a lot of books. The last two in that category were Twilight and New Moon. Oops, just lost my man card.

The books I'm proudest of reading completely are The Holy Bible and The Lord of the Rings.

My all-time favorite fiction book(s) is/are (because it's really six books in one volume) The Ultimate Hitchhiker's Guide by Douglas Adams and my favorite nonfiction (which I read more of than anything else these days) book by far is Teacher Man by Frank McCourt.

Every female in our household has read and re-read all four books in the Twilight series at least three times... I just can't get into them that much. I started to read Eclipse (or listen to it) but not much was happening early so I got bored. I also don't like how ridiculously strong and indestructible the vampires are. I have nothing against vampires or horror or fantasy in general, but somehow my Y chromosome is keeping me from falling in love with those books.

The Client John Grisham 1995

This series was based on the book by John Grisham about Reggie Love, a lawyer, who just started her practice and is also a recovering alcoholic which was made into a movie starring Susan Sarandon. Mom and I always share books, she got me started on John's books.

At the lake during the summer we have a club were we all read and then put all our read books onto shelves. We then can take a book  read and initial it and turn it back in so we know we have read it. It is a very wonderful way to read all the books and share with others while sharing the cost of books. We then can share our ideas and if a book might be worth reading.

What You get from online is not pirated copy n "Digital Fortress & Deception Point of Dan Brown are old novels" so U can place an order. I get all my books from online, sometimes by advance booking to receive it on 1st day just like in the case of The Lost Symbol.
Dan Brown's novel is selling high after the 2 films Da Vinci n Angels n Demons.

I do not use online for purchase, as you are aware, even "secured" is not secure as crime is a step ahead of prevention.!

If you like Suspense/CIA/Black Ops books Vince Flynn, IMHO, is even better then Tom Clancy.  He has a new book that just came out and I can't wait to get my hands on it..... the last book I read was his last one Extreme Measures.... awesome book!
