Wow, that was classic SNL. I really liked 3 Wishes also. I think he was an actor that all generations and all audiences could relate with and admire. Like with Chris Farley and John Candy, this will take a long time to sink in.

#24 \| 70 days ago Irish22 (+)	In 2003, some friends of mine got married. The town was very small about 5000 people, and this was the wedding of the year(for that town). Mr Swayze happened to be in town and meet up with a couple of locals business owners and joined them at the wedding reception. He was really easy going and signed autographs and took pictures with everyone that wanted them. He signed the guest book, gave the bride and groom $1000 as a wedding gift and danced with the bride. She cried buckets last night after she went to bed - she turned on her radio to listen to as she fell asleep and it was announced. Today her eyes are all puffy and swollen and she made me promise to watch both Dirty Dancing and Ghost with her before the week is out. She often asks me to watch her favs with her, but this time it will be a joy, not a chore. RIP Patrick, you will be missed by generations.
