He looked really bad the last time he was shown on TV leaving the hospital.  He is out of pain now. GOD Bless his Family and Friends.

Like Farrah Fawcett, we knew it was coming, but didn't want to hear it.  RIP, he will be greatly missed.

My absolute favorite is his skit with Chris Farley as the Chippendales dancer.  Too funny!  He was a great actor, husband and father.  Rest in peace.

I was happy for most of the day. I beasted at my academic team meet, then I laughed at my Federer-fan friend after Del Potro won. Five minutes later, I found out Swayze died. That brought me down a few notches.

What an awful loss.  Patrick Swayze stole my heart with the movie, "Dirty Dancing"  He was a wonderful dancer and I had never, and probably never will see a man that looked so good in a pair of pants than he did.  I'm not being disrespectful, I'm being honest.  May he rest in peace,

Wow, that was classic SNL. I really liked 3 Wishes also. I think he was an actor that all generations and all audiences could relate with and admire. Like with Chris Farley and John Candy, this will take a long time to sink in.

The final destiny - the ultimate truth - and he has been accepted to be part of it.  No condolences, only homage!

In 2003, some friends of mine got married. The town was very small about 5000 people, and this was the wedding of the year(for that town). Mr Swayze happened to be in town and meet up with a couple of locals business owners and joined them at the wedding reception. He was really easy going and signed autographs and took pictures with everyone that wanted them. He signed the guest book, gave the bride and groom $1000 as a wedding gift and danced with the bride. He was a kind man, and was very easy going and will be missed by many.

He will be greatly missed, I know he has some great movies and I know that it is a chick flick but my favorite is one that makes me smile "Dirty Dancing" "my all time favorite quote is "No one puts baby in the corner" RIP Patrick and sleep with the angles

What young girl didn't dream of Johnny Castle at some point in her life?  My 11 year old daughter is included in that group.  She cried buckets last night after she went to bed - she turned on her radio to listen to as she fell asleep and it was announced.  Today her eyes are all puffy and swollen and she made me promise to watch both Dirty Dancing and Ghost with her before the week is out.  She often asks me to watch her favs with her, but this time it will be a joy, not a chore.  RIP Patrick, you will be missed by generations.
