Politically Correct??? Or Not?? Presidential Jokes....

OK.  It is getting to be that time.  We are just a couple of months away from the (Insert Party Here) National Convention.  My email has been blowing up with jokes about each of the suspected candidates (McCain and Obama).  It really doesn't matter which side you are supporting for this poll, just that you have a sense of humor about both candidates.  Use this poll to "show off" your favorite joke of the day.

Here's one I got this morning:

OLD BUTCH

John was in the fertilized egg business. He had several hundred young
Layers (hens), called 'pullets,' and ten roosters to fertilize the eggs.

He kept records, and any rooster not performing went into the soup pot
and was replaced. This took a lot of time, so he bought some tiny bells
and attached them to his roosters. Each bell had a different tone, so he
could tell from a distance, which rooster was performing. Now, he
could sit on the porch and fill out an efficiency report by just
listening to the bells.

John's favorite rooster, old Butch, was a very fine specimen, but this
morning he noticed old Butch's bell hadn't rung at all!

When he went to investigate, he saw the other roosters were busy chasing
pullets, bells-a-ringing, but the pullets, hearing the roosters coming,
could run for cover.

To John's amazement, old Butch had his bell in his beak, so it couldn't
ring. He'd sneak up on a pullet, do his job, and walk on to the next one.

John was so proud of old Butch, he entered him in the Renfrew County
Fair and he became an overnight sensation among the judges.

The result was the judges not only awarded old Butch the No Bell Piece
Prize but they also awarded him the Pulletsurprise as well.

Clearly old Butch was a politician in the making. Who else but a
politician could figure out how to win two of the most highly coveted
awards on our planet by being the best at sneaking up on the populace
and screwing them when they weren't paying attention.

Vote carefully this year...the bells are not always audible.

+5 thumbs upAfter getting all of the "Obama is a Muslim" e-mails, I stopped reading these things.  I would never vote for the guy, but it's not because I think he is a closet Muslim.  That crap ruins political discourse.

+3 thumbs upWell I think if they play Sports together they could find some common ground and be friends. McCain can show Obama how to play 'Shuffleboard', and Obama can show McCain how The X Games work. Then McCain can treat Obama to a Denny's Grand Slam Breakfast.

+1 thumbs upGood joke!

Here is one that I kind of like...

A man in at hot air baloon realized he was lost.  He lowered his altitiude and spotted a woman below.  He descended a bit more and shouted, "Excuse me, can you help me?  I promised a friend I would meet him an hour ago but I don't know where I am!"
The woman replied, "You are in a hot air balloon approximately 30 feet above the ground.  You are between 40 and 41 degrees north latitude and between 59 and 60 west longitude."
"You must be a Republican." said the balloonist.
"I am.  How did you know?"
"Well," answered the balloonist, "everything you told me is technically correct, but I have no idea what to make of your information and the fact is, I'm still lost.  Frankly, you haven't been much help so far."
The woman replied, "You must be a democrat."
"I am", replied the balloonist.  "How did you know?"
Well, said the woman, "you don't know where you are or where you are going.  You have risen to where you are due to a large quantity of hot air.  You made a promise which you have no idea how to keep and you expect me to solve your problem.  The fact is, you are in exactly the same situation you were in before we met but now, somehow, it's my fault."

I am not a conservative and I don't play one on tv.
