+1 As a Lightning fan, are you serious?!..lol.. I'll muck through this:
St. Louis-LeCavalier-Prospal
Malone-Stamkos-Vrbata
Jokinen-Ward??? or Halpern if he can get healthy-Ouellet
uhhh... Roberts- ?Craig? - Hall
Blueliners: Boyle, O'Brien, Ranger, Picard and ???, ???? G: Mike Smith, Olaf Kolzig, Karri Rammo
Why aren't they going after blueliners?
(Edited by kteacher) +1 As a Kings fan--are you serious? Youth movement here we , I thought we already were????? One of these days they will be good. All kidding aside, I actually like the way Lombardi is building the team. We are starting to stack up on young "D"-------translation----their power play numbers will go down minus Lubo, but their penalty kill should go up.
By the way, do you think the Kings can get a coach? It might be nice if their was someone there to lead all these young'ins.
Well he takes care of our problem of lacking a PP Quarterback...but his $6.5M contract for 6 years seems a little pricey. Also, I am confused as to why we signed Redden AND Rozival, as Redden is mostly just an upgraded verison of Rozival. These two similar d-men take up $11.5M in cap space, when what we really need is scoring wingers and a bruising blueliner. But still, I think Redden will be a solid fit and he just needed a change of scenery
Well we can scratch Hall off that list, he and Malone are both headed to Tampa. I still wanna know what possessed the Pens to keep Mark Eaton. I can count on one hand the number of games he's played the past 2 years.
I was on TSN.com and they said Crosby, Malkin, and Staal are the best three players remaining on the team and need to all be on the first two lines. I agree Malkin may have to move over to the wing, possibly Staal. But I dont think the Pens are done signing people, expect a few more wingers. And are they really happy with Sabourin as a backup?

+2 I wish they would have made more of an effort to keep Conklin. IMHO, Sabourin is easily expendable. I am hoping they find people to fill the voids left by Malone and now Hossa. They've got to find someone out there who is the same type of player that those 2 are. I heard Hossa said he thought he had a better chance of winning the Cup with the Wings, and that's why he went to Detroit. It's nothing against you or the Wings, but for that I hope the Pens win the Cup next year and the Wings get knocked out of the playoffs early, just to spite Hossa.

I wonder if the Pens will go after Kristian Huselius as they're were rumours out there at the deadline Pens wanted him.

Not sure you really need a special teams specialist but Pavol Demitra is still out there

lol I know what you mean with Hossa. I was so unbelievably pissed that Matt Schneider left us for the Stanley Cup Champion Ducks at the end of the 06-07 season. I laugh at his face now.
