I only gave him a 4 because of his playoff woes. Other than that, any team in MLB would love to have him on their squad at 3rd base or short stop. 4

#7 \| 88 days ago thirteenburn (+)	+2 Over his career, and not just with the Yankee's, he's been an exceptional player, will be a Hall of Famer and actually should be considered 'excellent'. But the Yankee's got him for specifically one reason and that was to move them THROUGH the playoffs and into the World Series, which quite frankly, he just hasn't done. Therefore, in my opinion, A-Rod is 'above average'. 4

With an all power and very little speed on offense and a Young Guns opening day pitching staff that now looks more like a Sunday Buffet line at the Senior Citizen Home A-Rod could be the reinvention of Babe Ruth or Hank AAron and the Yankees would be barely mediocre. This team simply isn't very good and if they don't get younger and healthier they won't be for the foreseeable future. 4

Im not saying anything bad about it. i agree with you i gave him a 4 also just because of the same thing, but you better believe that i would like him on the cubs...not for that much money tho 4

#14 \| 73 days ago likkerlicense (+)	MVP, great numbers, flashes of greatness. I honestly think he shoulders too much of the blame. I mean that 2 ways, first he isn't to blame all by himself for the Yanks' postseason woes; and second I truly believe he puckers up in those clutch situations cuz he knows he is expected to deliver, in other words, he thinks too much. Yes they need to get younger and they are, a much healthier mix of vets and youth is around the corner, as well as a dominant lefty ACE, welcome to the Bronx, CC!! 3.5
