Remember When?
Remember When? PhotoMy mom and I were talking the other day about the price of eggs (I have no idea why...), and that spiraled into candy prices, and just inflation in general. I understand inflation is inevitable, but am I the only one or does it seem like it's been out of control the past few years?

It really doesn't seem like that long ago that it cost $10 to fill up my empty gas tank, 50¢ for a candy bar and $1.59 for a gallon of milk, and when postage used to go up every few years instead of every year.

What are some of the price changes that you notice the most?

Chocolate milk was $4.06 a gallon today! I never buy it but the Magnificent JJ wanted some. HA! bought a bottle of Hershey syrup and 2% milk instead. I think that will come out cheaper in the long run...

I buy T-Shirts really cheap...seems like those used to cost more.

Film cameras are dirt cheap if you can find one. Photo Frames are pretty inexpensive too.

eh, inflation is not really a big deal-- the big deal is that my PAYCHECK isn't rising as fast as prices!!!!!!

I remember 6 years ago a gallon of gas sold for .89!!!!   and a pack of cigarettes was $1.30-- I quit smoking years ago, but I wonder if I should quit driving too

+1 thumbs upI remember when I could buy candy bars 5 for a $1.00. Just the other day I bought a package of six for $2.00 at Walmart. If I had bought that at the grocery store, the same package would have been over $3.00.

i started driving at gas less than $1.  i don't know if I have ever bought eggs, and i only by milk for the kids.

Movie tickets and concessions are out of control.  I had to cut back on my comic books also.  And the guy who talked about baseball cards.  Not only are they $3.50 a pack or so, but you only get like 8 cards, when you used to get like 12.
