Alan I though it would be nice to say some things about the people here who have made a difference. The next person I pick may or may not be a Friend. If you do not agree with the poll why didn't you just skip it?

I like Riley and I find her passion for her animals inspiring.

However, what I am not really liking very much lately is all the bickering on this site. The little hidden jabs (and not so hidden jabs) are not very cool.

Here's to RileyJames who has made significant contributions to Season One, I for one received tons of accolades and gave as good as I got.  I've enjoyed reading her articles and understanding her point of view regarding her cause and just think she's a great Woman ... You know I wanted to do a poll on a person who has contributed to this place we all love. I was hoping maybe some of the new members could get to know her a little more. I had planned on doing a series of these polls. But in the first comment this poll went wrong. Right wrong or indifferent Iam very hurt that it has turned into this. You know we could all do our part to make it better by simply ignoring what we don't like or agree with. Jason I understand your frustration and I am in agreement with you on it. The one person who ruined that very funny poll should have just ignored it. Alan should have just ignored this poll simply for his dislike of Riley. I want to thank the ones who have so far contributed positively to this poll, and hope the ones who do not plan on doing that simply just skip it.

Glenda - I don't appreciate you attacking me with this comment. You called me out specifically and negatively. This is against the CoC.

I felt this type of poll was inappropriate. I never said it was against the CoC. Disagreeing with the focus of a poll is not disrespectful or even against the CoC.

I particularly do not believe in singing the praises of an individual who attacks people who put comments out there that disagree with a point of view that she is pushing. Especially when that point of view encourages giving half-truths and attacking whole groups of people falsely.

Although the mods have not deleted her attacking comments, rileyjames has posted a number of attacks to me including accusing me of deleting her comments (which I do not have the power to do), attacking Jasonwrites and myself as "fellow pencils" who are out to get her (neither Jason nor myself are out to get her.) And I do not have a "dislike of Riley". Don't put words into my posts. My comments on her polls and articles are strictly related to having both sides of a story told.

I do NOT have to skip a poll. And I will not skip polls that I think are intolerant or provide a one-sided view of something. And please don't ask me to "ignore what we don't agree with". If people are intolerant or attack others, my father taught me to stick up for what is right, not just walk away and ignore it.

Glenda, I will not post all of the examples here, but I am happy to provide the proof and the examples to anyone interested. Feel free to pm me.

Wow,  I have not been on this site for a few weeks.  I used to try and get on every day but lately the desire has not been there.  Today I had some down time at work and got on.  Instead of going straight to the trivia like I usually do I decided to check out the polls.  After reading this poll and a few others I realizes why I have not got on here in a while.  I no longer enjoy it.  All of the nasty comments and personal attacks are really tiring.  There is no ability anymore to have a disagreement without being afraid that you will be ripped apart in the poll.  People can not answer polls that have been done in the past but instead rip the person making the polls because it is a repeat. You know newer people to this site don't know it is a repeat.  I keep seeing people write that we want to befriend new members but let me tell you that I have never really felt befriended on this site.  I don't see how you will attract new people to this sites because the cliques are already formed and they are not taking new members.  Not that an intelligent person wants to be part of the clique but they sure don't want to be excluded.  There are some very nice people on here who do make an effort to be nice to everyone but the rest are really spoiling it.  I sure wish you would straighten up because I have enjoyed my time on here and will still continue to do trivia.  I just think my time at the polls will be very limited from now on.  If you don't want to continue to see people leave and you want to welcome new people then I think some of you should really clean up your act.

 Yeah there sure is, but with certain exceptions attitudes are pretty much the same. A poor girl can't even do a friendly Poll to thank someone who they have regard for without it turning into a toilet flush and who do we thank for that, the first comments on the Poll thats who and they were Mods/Writers whatever.
