Should Coach Bilicheck admit that HE was the person who ordered the videotapings?
We all watched as the Patriots videographer took the fall for the NFL's latest video scandal.  However, it really doesn't take a rocket scientist (or does it, Tagliebue?) to figure out that this SUBORDINATE was only doing what HIS BOSS REQUIRED for him to keep his job, which he lost in the end, anyway.

+4 thumbs upHe never will and he should be BANNED from the league for this. It's different when it's a coach than a player. He's supposed to be a leader of an entire team and this is what he does. I call for a lifetime ban! If he would man up and admit to his cheating then I'd probably change my mind. But since he continues to play his bullshit misinterpretation game, I call for a lifetime ban. Admit to it Bill!

+1 thumbs upNo doubt what- so- ever on this question. I think he should grow a sack and admit the truth instead of sticking with his " I misinterpreted the rules" BS!!! Be a man and maybe you can save some face!!!

At this point, I think he should just let things die down.  Don't get me wrong, I know it was a willful disregard of the rules and not a mistake.  However, I think if he comes out and says he willfully broke the rules, the NFL may impose more punishments.  Why would he risk that now?  I don't think he saves face by admitting he cheated on purpose...even though we all know he did.

+2 thumbs upThat is why the question was written SHOULD HE and not WILL HE!  If he was EVER going to man up on this issue (which he created) he would have done so BEFORE NOW!  He's just the NFL version of Barry Bonds, and another record gets tainted!   I'm so (NOT) shocked!

And my post was stating that I don't think he SHOULD at this point because it would serve no point.  It's pretty obvious that he never WILL.

+2 thumbs upI TOTALLY AGREE, DUDE!  How about the NFL "misinterpret" your 19 wins last season because they were aided (in one form or another) by your ILLEGAL VIDEOTAPING of opponents!  Let's see if you MAN UP, then!

+2 thumbs upHow bout the fact that it was 18 wins last year and the fact they didn't get help from anything seeing as they got caught in the FIRST game. Meaning they had no help the rest of the year. Get over yourself.

After reading your inane comment, I did something I really didn't need to do; I ran my mousey over your pic to figure out that you're a chowd to the bone!  And, being a chowd means you back the Pats  and EVERYTHING Coach Billechoke says, since he is the next best thing to Santa Claus come December.  Another thing a chowd should know about is MOMENTUM (once something starts, its harder to stop it), considering it took 80 some years to break that CURSE thing.

Let's play a little role reversal here:  Suppose YOU were the videographer asked to do a job by your Head Coach (knowing it was AGAINST LEAGUE POLICY for you to do).  But knowing that if you refused, you would be terminated. So, you do the job!

Come to find out later, you were CORRECT to assume you would lose your job.  Your Head Coach must testify/lie that he didn't ask YOU to break league rules, You MUST HAVE come up with this plan ALL BY YOURSELF! And you get fired for doing EXACTLY what you were ordered to do.

WOULD YOU STILL RESPECT HIM, IN BOTH WORD AND DEED?  Be careful how you answer this, it could determine how much of a chowd you really are.

1. This post has absolutely nothing to do with what I am talking about. I was talking about the point where you said they used the tapes to win their 18 games and I was pointing out that they got caught after the first game and lost all their tapes, meaning they had no help from the tapes at all last season. I don't care what you think about Bill Belichick, he is one of the best coaches ever and will be in the hall of fame even if you have no respect for him.

2. Learn how to use correct grammer and how to constuct a sentance before you try to make yourself look cool.

3. What is a chowd????

To respond to your comments;

1)I'm sure Billachoke will make the Hall, also. You are also right to say that I have no respect for him ... why should I?

2) I'll make you a deal: I will learn how to use correct (grammar) just as soon as you learn how to spell what it is you think I should construct better (sentence). Ignorance makes you look even less cool.

3) A "chowd" is a shorter version of CHOWDERHEAD, a term for the residents in your neck of the woods.  Or is it CHOWDAHEAD, since pronouncing the letter R seems to be as difficult as playing a clean NFL game!

1. No need to have respect for him because it doesn't affect him or the Patriots at all because they don't care what you think.
2. Yeah, I looked pretty stupid for misspelling a word after try to be the grammer police but spelling a word wrong is better than being unable to form a sentence.
3. No one calls people from Boston/the Northeast chowderheads. And not everyone from Boston has a Boston accent. Ignorance is way to common nowadays.
