If you wait until the third or fourth incident you have already reinforced his behavior by not taking any action. The severity of the action and the number of times it happens should govern the punishment. Take Manny's name out of the incident and add any other name and see what you come up with. Just because Ramirez makes millions in his baseball contract, it doesn't give him the right, to commit an act of battery. I understand that suspending him would also be punishing his team in a way (without him playing in a couple of huge series'), but, in all honesty, he is the one punishing his team with his "Manny being Manny antics" as well.
