This poll kind of ties in with my "What is your heritage" poll. Now that we're sharing our ancestry, let's share whether or not we can speak languages other than English. Also, tell us if you were born outside the U.S. and English was not the first language you learned how to speak.

My grandma and aunt (her sister) always spoke to each other in Italian, but it was more so I couldn't understand what they were talking about. They taught me some, but other than them, I never really had any reason to use it, so I lost most of it. Also, I had a lot of Spanish speaking friends when I was younger and it's very similar to italian, so I wound up excelling in it in school, and b/c of all the Mexicans that r our workforce now, I've held onto that much better. I wouldn't say I'm fluent, but I understand it, in both cases better than I can speak it. 1. yes 2. English is my first language 3. I can't speak any other languages.
