TRAPPED

Earlier today I went to use the downstairs bathroom and when I tried to leave the door was stuck. "Very funny, David. Let me out." I said and then heard him shout "what?" from the living room. uh oh. i was locked in the bathroom. We both wiggled and jiggled the knob and pushed and pulled on the door, but finally resorted to removing the knob to get me out. Luckily there was enough room under the door itself for him to slide a screwdriver under or I might still be in there. We were both laughing a pretty good deal, but I admit I felt a sliver of panic trying to creep in. Naturally, upon my release, I said to myself "I gotta write a poll!" So, answer 2 little questions and then share your stories here!!

#5 \| 98 days ago CMB (+)	+6 I was never exactly "trapped" like you, but my parents went into Lowe's once and I stayed in the car. They of course locked the doors in the car, and after about 20 minutes I wanted to get out and see what was taking so long. So stupid me pushes the unlock button inside the car and the car alarm goes off. The only way to turn off the alarm is to turn on the car or push the alarm button on the keys, but I didn't have any. Luckily, they came out within a couple minutes and shut off the alarm. But those few minutes were quite embarrassing with all the people in the parking lock looking at me just sitting in the car with the alarm going off! Enter the poll to see my answer

#13 \| 98 days ago Michael (+)	+5 I've been trapped in several places but the worst was in a Chicago high rise...with eleven people. That was the problem!! Three of the went crazy; yelling, crying, clawing at the door. I was ready to kill them! We were there for a little over 4 hours before being freed. After the first hour, I sat calmly in the corner with my lady-friend and we just sat...when the doors opened we were the last out. We were the ONLY ones who thanked the elevator people; the rest complained to them---dumb!!! Enter the poll to see my answer

#14 \| 98 days ago Helen (+)	+1 I have been locked out of places but not locked in. I did lock the dogs in my brother's house a couple of months ago. I thought the key they left was to the turn lock but it was to the deadbolt and I couldn't get the bottom lock unlocked. I was panicking. I had to go through a window but it took forever to open it. poor puppies!
