+2 thumbs upanother weak Non-Conference schedule for Texas!  Arkansas won't be who they were, but it's still a tough place to play...it won't shock me if Texas wins it...just not willing to bet on it.

+1 thumbs upthis is why i was hoping McFadden would still be in college this year. but now with arkansas losing so much last season, it wont be as hyped up or as good of a game as it probably should be

+2 thumbs upYes, I'd prefer another marquee game, but I don't think this schedule is that weak.  A SEC program, 2 C-USA teams, and a Sun Belt team:  All are D-1 schools and two of them are in-state schools to keep the money in the home state.  That game played at Little Rock against an SEC team is far from a gimme putt and UTEP may play them dangerously close as the game is at UTEP.  There are far worse scheduling offenders in D-1 than UT this year.

+1 thumbs upHave you seen Texas Tech's out of conference sched (Eastern Wash, Nevada, SMU, & UMass)?  How 'bout LSU's sched (App State, Troy, North Texas, & Tulane)?  Both Kansas (Fla Int'l, La Tech, USF, & Sam Houston St) and K-State (North Tx, Montana St, Louisville, & UL-Lafayette) have stinkers for out of conference scheduling.  Wisconsin checks in with some season-ticket-holder-rip-off games too (Akron, Marshall, Fresno, and CAL Poly!!!)  Rutgers not only has Morgan State, but also has pencilled in BOTH Navy and Army for beatings!!!  Let's get it right; I wasn't defending UT's schedule above:  Just noting that it could have been a helluva lot worse!

+1 thumbs upFAU will be their toughest game. Sun Belt conference champs and a Davey O'Brien candidate.
Arkansas is one of the worst teams in the SEC, UTEP is middle of the road and Rice is awful.
