The FanIQ Nascar Sprint Cup Commissioner Challenge: Centurion Boats at The Glen (Edited 08/04/08 08:13PM by Scott)

One week after Carl Edwards took home the win at the Sunoco Red Cross Pennsylvania 500, the Nascar Sprint Cup Series heads to upstate New York for some road racing at the Centurion Boats at the Glen.  Last year at this race, Jeff Gordon qualified first but it was Tony Stewart who took home his 4th win at the Glen, ahead of Denny Hamlin, Jimmie Johnson, Ron Fellows and Robby Gordon.  Can Stewart make it back to back at the Glen, giving himself his 1st win of the 2008 season?  Will fellow Toyota teammates Denny Hamlin and Kyle Busch rebound after disappointing finishes at Pocono raceway?  Will Jeff Gordon use his road course knowledge to find a way to victory lane?  Can his Hendrick teammates continue there second half surge with top 10 finishes?  How will the RCR cars fare on a road course, where only Kevin Harvick has been able to manage a win?  Can the Dodges find a way to bring home a win?  How will the rookies fare at there second crack on a road course?  Will the road course ringers bring home a victory for there respective teams?  Will this be the race that Juan Pablo Montoya gets back on track?  Which Roush-Fenway Fords will have success at the Glen?

+3 thumbs upNOTE - Because Boris Said is driving for Kyle Petty, wherever Said finishes, Petty will get credit for.  However, since Boris Said didnt qualify for the race, he isnt eligible in questions 12 and 13.  I've always scored my polls based on which drivers were actually running in the race.  For those who chose Said in questions 12 and 13, that's the risk you run by filling out the poll before qualifying is completed. The same rule applies for PJ Jones, as he is taking over the ride for JJ Yeley.  Wherever he finishes, Yeley will get credit for in this poll.  Next week, Brad Coleman takes over the 96 ride.  I apologize for any inconvenience that this may have caused
