I can keep going on and on. I mean 7 heismans. Also Alan Page and Curly Lambeau were Irish. Not too mention they have produced 10 players in the NFL HOF, and 48 in the college HOF. other

Never winning the Heisman or anything special, well with the exception of a 1977 Championship when they beat Texas who was ranked #1 in the country and Notre Dame was #5. After that game Notre Dame was propelled into the #1 spot Joe Montana

The main reason Joe wasn't a superstar at Notre Dame is because he didn't have to be ... he was surrounded by talent. He was soaking up the legend status, so when it came time for him to prove his worth ... he made the Domers proud! other

Non Irish fans need to know that there REALLY ARE faces behind ALL those legendary names. They need to understand WHY AMERICA'S college TEAM resides under the Golden Dome, and bows at the feet of Touchdown Jesus.
