Another poll to keep some entertained and others annoyed.  This won't always be a daily poll, depending on my rental history and how often I create them.  What I'm going to do is to start from the first movie I rented since starting my Blockbuster Online account and have you rate the movies to see how well we agree.  Hope You enjoy!

Now here's How the ratings Work -
1 - I REALLY hated this movie.
2 - I hated this movie.
3 - I REALLY didn't like this movie.
4 - I didn't like this movie.
5 - This movie was just so-so.
6 - This movie was okay.
7 - I like this movie.
8 - I REALLY like this movie.
9 - I LOVED this movie.
10 - I ABSOLUTELY LOVED this movie.
Other - other, i.e. I haven't seen the movie.

Most importantly...why only a 5?  Here's what I ask.  We spent millions of dollars on a war....funding a group that this movie doesn't speak of...however, it does speak of a high profile man who was just running for president (Rudolph Giuliani).  What is the group that it fails to mention?  The TALIBAN...who was the leader of this group that all the money went to (this in not conspiracy talk, this is actual history)...OSAMA BIN LADEN.

You can NOT rewrite history in front of my eyes and expect me not to notice.  Hindsight (from about 2 hours ago...I thought I could forgive this atrocity), I give this movie a 2.  GREAT acting...but HORRIBLE history.

There is, it must be said, a distinction between "terrible script" qua misrepresentation of history and "terrible script" qua poor, uncompelling writing; even as Aaron Sorkin may have written a work of the former variety here (which wouldn't be particularly objectionable, IMHO; CWW doesn't mean, after all, to be a wholly non-fictional recounting), he surely did not write, and never has written, at least AFAIAC, anything to which the latter description might reasonably be applied (he and Tom Stoppard are the only prolific 20th century dramedy screenwriter/playwrights about whose work I have never been able to speak a bad word).
