Please, the first person that doesn't pick Pujols first...you are the one that needs testing...Faniq testing that is.!!!!

Youkilis is extremely underrated. He is a great fielder and he has the highest contact rate with two strikes on him.

so much star power, made it tough 2 decide. it'll be interesting to see how this plays out. so many good arguments can be made for a lot of the players on the list. Halladay in my opinion, is the best pitcher in the league right now. he's consistent every year. u can expect at least 15 wins out of this guy every year. even while playing in a tough division. with an average team.

I tried to pick from younger future talent to older getting towards end of career. Some of the lower were better team players!

I heard former Cardinals Manager (who should be in the Hall of Fame), Whitey Herzog say last weekend that Joe Mauer was the only player that deserved to be in the conversation with Pujols.  That's an amazing compliment.

I put Sizemore on my list even though he's having a tough season. I think he's having injury issues.

Pitchers deserve to be on here it says top 10 PLAYERS not everyday players or pitchers.  Pitchers are very important too...*points to Johan & Doc*

Some of the people on the list here need to be slapped.  I don't care if we don't LIKE A-Rod he's still one of the top 10 players in the league.  I swear what the hell are some people thinking?  Zach Greinke over Roy Halladay?  Ian Kinsler over Beltran?  How the hell does ANYONE not have Ichiro on this list?  No David Wright?  No Han-Ram?  I like Evan Longoria but seriously how is he going to be over guys who have been in the league consistently smashing it?   I like Lincecum but he's not beating out Roy or Johan sweet Jesus how is Santana not on some lists?  I wish I had room for Adrian Gonzalez but I chose Manny cause frankly he's a difference maker and his bat is unrivaled by anyone other than Pujols.

Where's Prince Fielder?  He has a .309 BA, has hit 21 HR, 75RBI, a .428 OB% and a .614 Slugging % he is in part responsible for Braun's numbers as he makes it harder to pitch around him.  I wish I had room for Johan or Dan Haren, I love Cano and if this had just been about position players he and Manny would have made it, but the question did not make a distincion between pitchers and position players or even DHs as opposed to guys who must play defense.  I'd like to see what the results would be if you were starting a new team.  Then the young guys with upside like Crawford, Cano, Wright Han-Ram, and Longoria might get the nod over A-Rod, Manny and  Jeter.

I didn't bother to complain about who may or may not be on there but Hanley should be but Crawford doesn't count as a top 10 player.  Using Fantasy sports doesn't equate to being worth a damn for top 10 players.

There's absolutely no reason Johan Roy and Ichiro shouldn't be on EVERY list.

Crawford would be considered one of the best if he played in a media market like Boston, New York, or LA. All he is, is the best defensive LF in the game coupled with the being the best base stealer in the game. Hits for average and hits better than average in RBI situations. He has hit a HR in the All-Star game and in the World Series. He is one of only four players to EVER have more than 100 hits AND 40 SB's before tha All-Star break. Most people would have no clue that he has more career hits than players such as Brian Roberts, JD Drew, Grady Sizemore. Not sure what more you want out of a guy.
