+19 thumbs upOk, this question is going to make me sound like a total dork, but where's STAR WARS? and INDIANA JONES? Both of these series originally started out as trilogies and the older ones are still classics, despite the newer ones not being that great.

+3 thumbs upThe Matrix was the best movie on here... but the overall trilogy went downhill with the 2nd and 3rd movies. I think the Bourne Identity is the only one that stayed equally entertaining throughout. The Godfather was a classic, but the 3rd was so bad, it got knocked down a few spots.

+5 thumbs upI refuse to answer this poll based on the fact Star Wars wasnt included. Not too mention nothing on Indiana Jones. Plus this poll kind of lost it luster when you put in House Party and FORGET the 2 i just mentioned

+6 thumbs upStar Wars isn't a Trilogy...it's a sextuplet now.  Indiana Jones is a quadruplet now.  If we include those movies, I say let's include Die Hard and Lethal Weapon even though they are up to 4 each now too.

+2 thumbs upI would say Star Wars franchise is actually 2 sets of trilogies due to the time between Jedi and the Phantom Menace. Plus Lucas had planned to make them in 3's

+1 thumbs upI have to admit oceans 11 only made the list because of George Cloony.  Otherwise I guess it would have been shrek even though the last one was not very good.

+1 thumbs upCan someone tell me how Final Destination is on this list?  The first one was good, but the second and third ones were the exact same movie with a different freak accident at the beginning.

Dude, couldn't agree more.   It was like they all had a group meeting, & said "Great job everyone on movie #1, we'll be raking in the cash for years to come, let's throw two more sh%#eaters out there just to make sure our grandchildrens grandchildren are set too!"
