What do you think about sachin's knock of 175 runs in the recent series? where would you place this
Sachin tendulkar, his name is enough to describe about the class of cricket, Once again little master showed his importance in the team India, the way he batted throughout the inning was really great to watch. He is really lord of cricket.......

this shows that sachin tendulkar can still put the other team under pressure even if they get a huge score!! of 350
he still plays better than the new players in the indian team

No doubts it was marvellous inning played by Sachin, if he did not take that risk and give a single to Jadeja and ask him to take risk. Definately India win this game and it was definately counted the best inning ever played by Sachin

After surviving for the first few seven runs, little master came on his own, but was slow and steady, statistics do not show the first fifteen overs and the pressure on subsequent players to perform, performance was marvellous, not the one to be forgotten, but admired, as Kapil Dev put it, it was better than his 175 runs innings, but more important, Kapils', innings won the match, this did not.At seven runs per over, later the innings gave a different picture for stats, but wasted deliveries and application of the mind was wanting.

When the rival captain comes out and says this was one of the best innings he has seen in his life we have to acknowledge that innings to be a gem. Especially if that captain is Ricky Ponting, not someone known in the cricket world for his courtsey and humility. Note should also be taken in the clinical manner Sachin paced his innings: At the end of the 15th over, for example, he was not out on 50 from 47 balls. In fact, till Sehwag got out he concentrated on giving the strike to his partner. Once the first wicket fell Sachin got more aggressive.

I think that it was a live coaching lesson for youngsters who do not perform consistantly despite of having potential to do so.

Absolutely agree with you, sir. Sachin's innings was not just a display of his unquestionable talent. It was a tutorial on how to pace the innings, how to soak in the pressure, and yes, on selectve but effective strokeplay. In fact, Ravindra Jadeja's suicidal runout a little while later stood in stark contrast when it comes to temperament. Hope the young guns learn fast from the master.
