I guess the Marquette Warriors, now Golden Eagles, just don't qualify as an 1980's Big East Team?  How I remember that 1977 Marquette Warrior Team, coached by Al McGuire.  Butch Lee MVP of the Tournament after upsetting North Carolina!

I grew up in Queens, NY and one of my Friends Brothers was a bench warmer for Lou Carnesecca in the late 80's. Plus Chris Mullin was a Dream Teamer, hard not to like the REDMEN RED STORM.
