+14 thumbs upI didn't call any names, but I did say "what a piece of work, great leadership. Proof positive of why the Pats have been so universally hated by all but their own fans this year"

no doubt about it....  that was almost as shocking as the way the Giants D line owned the Pats O line-- and no adjustments were made by this "coaching genius" thru the game.

+1 thumbs upHe did nothing wrong. He shook Tom Coughlins hand in good sportsmanship. There was one second left on the clock, what was he to do? He just saw his perfect season go down the drain. I'd be pretty upset too. Give the guy a break. He had a terrific year. The Patriots are a great team despite not winning the Super Bowl.

When the clock still hasn't run out, you should at least stay on the field.  He didn't.  He preferred to go sulk in the locker room.

Gonna make a screensaver of his head after the loss.

I was laughing so hard at the Patriots loss I didnt think anything at all

To be honest, I was too busy celebrating to notice he had.  I still haven't heard his post-game interview.  I found out all this the next day.  Still, doesn't surprise me.  He's been classless in his wins, and he's been a flat out d!$& in his losses.  Think back to last year when he lost to the Jets, or when he beat the Chargers, or when he lost to the Colts.

I didn't see too much of a problem with it.  He already congratulated Coughlin, there was one second left and the game was over.  I guess staying an extra second would have looked a little better.

The problem was the clock hadn't run out.  They still had to run another play.  Most of the players who were supposed to be out there on the field realized that.  Somehow, Belichick didn't get the message that you should be there until the final whistle sounds.

+2 thumbs upBelichick took a play from Randy Moss play book, if you walk off before the game ends, the loss doesn't really count, its not on you...

When a team is on the field and has to run one more play,  coach stays on the field with them, no exceptions!!. It didn't surprise me though. He's shown no class all season, plus being  an old grumpy faced, crabby, personality lacking piece of horse hockey. And a dirt bag that only a mother could love. I wonder if the 02 Super Bowl is going to come back and bite him in the azz? I don't think Specter (sp) is a patriots fan.

honestly, i didnt have a problem with it. its not like the coaches didnt shake hands or anything. there was 1 second left and he walked out (like every1 else did) and shook the coaches hand and congratulated (or somethin) him. idk what was said. but either way. there's nothing for the losing coach 2 do after a game except shake the coaches hand and go back 2 the locker-room. but, it wasnt the classiest move because there was still a second left, but he still shook the coaches hand
