Which Fanbases Are Wicked Obnoxious? (Edited 02/07/08 10:59PM by Seth)

Every sports fan has certain fanbases that they absolutely cannot stand. Some are based on arrogance, inferiority complexes, or just flat out idiocy. No matter the cause, wherever you look, there they are, like little yipping dogs, "Look at us! We're great!"

Many in the list I provide may be more specific to the Midwest, since that is where I live. I just don't know if Washington Huskies fans are insufferable, so feel free to add your own!

Absolutely. I admire their passion, but completely obnoxious. I had the "privaledge" of sitting in the dead center of the UK section during the regional finals (against Michigan State) and a 50 year old women attempted trash talking with me. I've never seen anything like it. Also, I respect the hell out of the Ohio State football program but their fans in general are obnoxious.

(No.2) Boston is a provincial, small-minded and racially polarized town that is less friendly than Baghdad. And...I went to a (No. 3) UNC basketball game last season. I've seen the Irish, the Wolverines, the Tigers in '84 when we, uh, I mean, they overturned cop cars and set them on fire, yet never have I sat with such drooling zombies who just screamed their lungs out and stood on their feet and cheered every dribble like it was a half-court prayer at the buzzer. Impossible to enjoy the game when those crackers are unleashing a mindless wall of sound.
