+3 thumbs upHawaii has NO chance...if anyone comes from the WAC, it's either US (Boise State) or Fresno State (*gag*).

Illinois without Mendenall?  No.

Va Tech...No.

WVA without Steve Slaton...No.

Kansas...I doubt it...but maybe.

As much as it pains me to say... more than likely Va. Tech.  WVA is another possibility, Hawaii, Kansas and Illinois, don't think so...

Illinois or Virginia Tech could be close. No Rodriguez, no WV. Hawaii won't even be close

+2 thumbs upI know this is an ESPN poll, but none of these teams have a chance of making to the BCS.

+1 thumbs upit is just presumed Georgia will make it back.  i think ESPN was getting at the less certain teams.

+1 thumbs upVa Tech or WVA have the best chances, since they are more consistent in their conferences than the others.

+1 thumbs upI will admit I forgot about Noel Divine...but they also lost Coach Rodriguez (sp?)...so I'm not willing to hedge my bets on them...especially with other teams in the Big East showing signs of seriously competing in the conference (South Florida, Cinncy, Rutgers might still be there...and UConn...we'll see...Louisville...eh, maybe).  I just think it is a lot less certain than in years past...but I also picked Kansas and don't think they really have a prayer...I personally think the 12 will revert back to the Texas/OU fight this year.

ahhh...I love talking football...I missed it so much!

+1 thumbs upSteve Slaton wasn't even the second best runner on WVU last year......Pat White is returning and of course Noel Devine will be the ball carrier, that being said they will have a tough time in the ever-improving Big East

I felt Kansas did get just a tad bit lucky last year

I think by far the best team out of this group is West Virginia. VT has as good a chance as any though, especially since I don't think anyone trusts Clemson to actually live up to the hype.
