+15 thumbs upNice to see this this poll without the Saints as a listed choice.  Dunno 'bout Buffalo being on this list: if losing four superbowls is your criteria, then where are the Vikings?

+1 thumbs upTough to argue with Arizona or Detroit but I'll stay in my backyard and go Kansas City. The only real difference between Carl Peterson and Matt Millen is Peterson has been ineffective a lot longer.

+2 thumbs upI say Arizona, but the Lions are a close second. I mean neither have won a championship in over 50 years and are rarely even in competing for a playoff spot. But I give it to Arizona. I mean they have gone from Chicago to Arizona with same family screwing them up forever. The Bidwells MUST go of thet franchise is to ever win

+6 thumbs upKind of silly to put a team (Bills) on the list because they lost four Super Bowls.  You have to be a pretty good franchise to even get to four Super Bowls.

+2 thumbs uptossup right now between the Lions and the Falcons. The Falcons are in the worst position right now, because they will be dependent on a rookie QB for this season, dont really have a solid back-up behind him and doesnt have a ton around him. The Lions, at least, have Kitna, who can get things started, and hand it down to Stanton who should be able to do something good, they have talented recievers, but the O-Line is horrible, and the RB situation will not be that scary to opponents. the "D" is like the most inconsistant Defense in the league. there are some games when you watch them and think "OMG! THE LIONS ARE DOING DECENT!" because the defense is able to create some offense, but most games, you think "here we go again" i think, even though the lions havent won a play-off game in over 50 years, as of right now, it is the Falcons because of the stage they are at

Not being weird, but they need to build moral...Get rid of the stupid 10 year old baton twirlers in the corners of both end zones and get some fawking Cheerleader's for Pete's sake!

What man wouldn't run tward boobs bouncin in the air with short skirts for a touchdown?!?!? DUH!

I DO Love My Lions, maybe one Year, just One fawking year, we'll make the F*C#IN PLAYOFFS!!

Even if it's on a damn wild card I wouldn't mind!

To start 6-2, and end up 7-9, is pretty bad. They are headed in the right direction.  I really like their receivers, but if Kitna goes down, they are in serious trouble. Jordan Dizon will help(stud LB from CU Buffs), but their schedule is brutal. They'll be lucky to win 7 games, imo.

my meaning is they started out in Chicago and now are in Arizona. No true stablility. Sure they were in St Louis for 25 years and went to the playoffs 3 times and never won a game. Heck that franchise under the Bidwell leadership went from 1947 to 1998 without a playoff win.

I guess you could say this if you are basing it on last year's record only.  However, one year does not make or break a franchise.  The Dolphins are tied with the Bears as the winningest franchise (as a percentage) in NFL history. 2004, 2006 and 2007 were losing seasons for the Dolphins.  Prior to that, you have to go back to 1988 for their last losing season.  How can you say they are worse than your Falcons?

It's alright. The loss @ Detroit was their first playoff game in a while.  They came from 1-15 in '89(the one win @ the Redskins), to winning 3 out of 4 Super Bowls within 6 or 7 years. That helped take away the sting of losing to Detroit

Last season's record doesn't make you the worst franchise.  If it did, the poll maker could simply have asked, "Which team had the worst record last year?"  Being a bad franchise encompasses so much more than just a team's record.  How about management?  Having someone like Matt Millen making decisions hurts a franchise much more than last year's record.  The Dolphins have made quite a few moves to better themselves in the offseason...good draft, new coach, Parcells, etc.  I think they are CURRENTLY a better franchise than a number of others in the NFL...including the Falcons, Cardinals and Lions.

+1 thumbs upI dont know who could be worse between the Lions and the Cardinals. They both have a history of losing and its not even close. Atlanta is right there. I mean never having back to back winning seasons takes a ton of craptastic leadership to accomplish. When I think or hear bad franchise the Dolphins are not even on my radar. They may have struggled since Marinos retirement but they will get better in a hurry. We all need some team in the AFC east to start beating on the Pats, which will happen sooner than later

What a surprise.  How many times have the Lions, Cardinals, and Falcons made the playoffs combined?  It doesn't equal as many as the Steelers have alone.  Sometimes you get carried away with your hatred for them, Pat.

What's wrong with my reaction, Pat?  You'd do the same thing if I were to answer the Patriots for this question, but it would be much worse on your part, and I think we all know that.

I'd probably just give you a funny... I would feel no need whatsoever to try to justify anything.

And I never said your reaction was wrong... only that it amuses me.
