Manny always tends to have slow Aprils....but then again so does Griffey.

+1 thumbs upI would love to see Griffey Jr. have a solid 2008 season...if he can stay healthy for a good portion of the season he could really help contribute to what is going to be a suprising Cincinnati Reds team...No matter what he does the remainder of his career Griffey goes down as one of the best players of our generation...and in my opinion is a first ballot hall-of-famer...

I would love to see it too.  He had a solid year last year and will this year as long as he stays healthy.  The Reds should be solid this year though.  Its a shame they lost their crackhead Josh Hamilton, but having a great closer in Fransisco Cordero should help them this year.  The bullpen has blown a lot of saves over the years.

I would like to see Griffey end his career strong by having two more seasons like the Ken Griffey of old instead of an old Ken Griffey.

I think he can do it though

Will Manny finally step up and have a big year?  Are the Sox done trying to deal him?

Manny is good problem to have, not to mention they are the current Champions

+1 thumbs upI'm not sure if this is true or not, but it's easier to hit 7 home runs than it is to hit 10.

+2 thumbs upIt is easier to hit 7 than 10 but Griffey is getting old and has been brittle.  Manny is younger and won't sit games like Griffey so I think the question is an interesting one.

+1 thumbs upManny because this is a contract year for him.
Manny Ramirez

+1 thumbs upLast season, Jr didn't hit his 7th HR until May 13th.  Manny didn't hit his 10th HR until May 9th.  I think this could go either way.

+1 thumbs upApparently, Griffey is never going to homer again. 80+ AB's with no HR's. Come on, Junior.
