Great job comparing a 17 year NFL Vet to a 26 game starter- I'm impressed!!! Maybe Brett and T.O. can get together and have a crying-fest.   Get real- Brett was not one of the best players of all time.... Sure he had some good years and a few great years- but he "choked" just as many times (if not more) than he pulled off the "miracle finish". Come on- be realistic here- in his 17 years, the Packers went to the playoffs 11 times- yet only ONE Superbowl victory in two attempts!!! Lets see, Dilfer,Manning (both of the brothers) and Roethlisburger all have ONE ring- what does that mean???  Christ- Aikman has three of them in an 11 year career- does that make him one of the greatest players of all time???? And all of those years and TD passes that Brett threw are absolutely worthless if you cant win the big one- aren't they???

This is just a ridiculous comment.  Getting to one Superbowl is difficult enough.  Look at Dan Marino, he got there is his first season and never got back.  Favre went to two, as you said led his team to the playoffs 11 times in 17 years, and restored the legacy of one of the most storied franchises in this league.  Any football fan should be able to put his prejudice aside and recognize that.  You should also recognize that A championship is a team accomplishment.  Aikman would have never won three, if it weren't for Emmit, his O-Line, and a stallwort defense, and you know that.

+3 thumbs upI don't understand your answers here bro.  I say the Eagles or even Minnesota may make a run.

Of all the NFC teams, I'd have to be a homer here and say the cowboys. I think Green Bay is probably gonna lose farve this offseason, and while i do think aaron rodgers will be a decent Qb, i dont think they will be the same team without farve. The Eagles are going to need ALOT of help if they are to make it there. I think the giants offensive line is getting old and their dline is too. The redskins dont have a shot with Zorn(spelling?) being in his first year with the skins. Tampa Bay, and especially Garcia, arent getting any younger. Neither is Seattle, all though Seattle D is pretty good.

Add an "other" choice, because I'm not completely convinced all 6 of these teams will make the playoffs again.

+1 thumbs upOK, hello? McFly.... you think any other NFC teams have a shot at Super Bowl? Playoffs perhaps...but NFC title? Eagles would be the only other team I'd add to the list... if I had to add one. I'd probably replace Washington with Philly. Viking? Right. Wouldn't that be fitting...Romo can't win a playoff game but Tavarius Jackson leads vikes to Super Bowl?  I'd head right out and buy a lottery ticket.

Dallas and Green Bay, as long as Favre comes back and maybe even if he doesnt, have got 2 be the favorites for the NFC going into this season. But, its the NFL and teams can have the *dream* season and for all we know a team nobody predicted could be in it. But, i'm a die-hard Packer fan and i'm goin with Green Bay

+3 thumbs upI dont understand why you wouldnt put 16 teams on this list.  Its an NFC Poll and you can put up to 20 choices, so I just dont understand.  When's the last time all 6 NFC teams repeated making the playoffs?  Has that ever even happened?  Thats just dumb.

+3 thumbs upThe way the Eagles closed out the season, had they made it... it would've been Phila vs New York in the NFC Championship.

'all of them' might not, but the winner of the NFC will definitely be one of them. And by "one of them" I mean the Pack, unless Brett doesnt come back, then its up in the air.

What is with you eagle fans "not understanding"? Has Eagles merchandise become tainted with lead?

I chose those 6 teams because they have the best chance to make a run next year AND its my frickin poll. if I wanted a homer poll, id have put all 16 on there, but I didnt want a homer poll, I wanted an accurate one. nobody will vote for the eagles besides eagles fans and where does that leave us?

+2 thumbs upI'm gonna play devil's advocate here, but wouldn't putting all 16 NFC teams on your list make a fair poll, and not a homer one?  Sure you're going to have people picking their favorite teams, but it would give everyone a fair chance to voice their opinion, as homeristic as it may be.
