It's gotta be the Packers.  A lot say it will be the Vikings but I don't see it happening.

+1 thumbs upI really think it is still really early to call. I would like to see if the Packers can surround Rodgers will a bit more strength on the line. Also maybe another weapon at TE and/or WR. If they can keep playing solid defense and gets some good games out of Rodgers and the backfield they have a very good shot of taking the division. The Bears and Vikes still have a shot to make a run at it. Bears absoultly need to get some one younger on the O-line and look at some RB's in the draft. Vikes might want to look at the WR or TE spot. The Lions we will have to see. They seem to be going in a direction no one really knows. They need a DB and RB. It's really. Hard to say who takes it right now.

+2 thumbs upit will be a close run between the vikes and pack so whoevers QB proves themselves on the field will take the division most likely

+1 thumbs upthe Vikings have a weak passing game and a big problem at DE and a mediocre secondary. Packers have little depth in secondary, young off line, and a questionable running game... i think you are right in vikes and pack will battle it out. But I think top to bottom, Packers have more talent. But so much lies with AR.

+1 thumbs upthe vikes have a outstanding running game there if the QB who ever is going to start could twice as many touchdown passes over ints they should have a pretty good offense, the pack just needs to know if aaron is going to be a good QB i dont think he needs to be exactly like brett favre stepping in but if he plays like he did against my coxboys then they shouldnt have to many problems taking the division

+1 thumbs upvikes are in a bad spot... they want to develop a young QB... but have no receivers that scare anybody. I think Peterson will be even more dangerous if defenses have to respect the pass and keep guys further off the line. Without any stud receivers, Jackson won't develop the chemistry needed to have a good passing game. Ever since Moss left... Vikes have wasted a ton of money and draft picks...and have yet to replace him.

+1 thumbs upVikings.  They went 8-8 with no QB, no WRs, and no passing defense last year.  If just one of those improves this year they'll go 10-6 or 11-5 which very well may be enough to take the division.

+1 thumbs up11-5? In your dreams. You still have no QB, still have no DE, still have no WR, and a bad pass defense. You got the best running back in NFL and a couple good DT's...besides that , viking roster isn't close to be a contender

+1 thumbs upI'm a Packers fan, so I don't want the Vikings to come close to the division title.  That said, they control the ground game on both sides of the ball.  If either side of their passing game can improve to being average this year, they're going to be good.

but 11-5 playing vs AFC South and some tough NFC games... 11-5 is a bit of a stretch IMHO

a honest fan i guess, when dallas had campo there when they only had 5 wins a season i wasnt expecting to win s#*% except a good draft pick and training some new guys for future seasons

+2 thumbs upThe bottom line is that the key to who wins the NFC North... is AAron Rodgers. Packers are youngest and most talented team in the division. But, as Bears,Vikes, and Lions prove year in and year out... without a darn good QB, you will have a hard time winning a title. If Rodgers were to play all 16 games and have a decent season...Packers should be 10-6 or 11-5.... if Rodgers struggles or gets injured... pack could be 7-9 or 8-8.

+1 thumbs upif Rodgers falters... all 4 teams have a shot, and 9-7 or 8-8 may win it. If Rodgers plays well and stays healthy... the younger and deeper Packers would be the team to beat.

+1 thumbs up

Perhaps a vote with my heart instead of my head.....but I think "Da Bears" could make a surprising run.     An easier schedule, a little less 'complacency', and besides.....it's time for Rex to get hurt again !!      Go Orton !!

Bears
#21 | 113 days ago

+2 thumbs upSchedule is a little easier, but not much. With the tough AFC South on the card...bears need to hope for other teams to falter to have a chance. Right now they have no running game...no receivers...no QB... and an aging off line. Offensivey, Bears are in as bad shape as any team in NFL. Throw in Urlacher's sitting out offseason wanting another huge contract... not much good going on at Halas Hall. If Orton is your QB...Benson your RB...and Bradley your go to WR... you better hope to win a lot of 9-7 games.
