If I had been drinking more I would have chosen Oakland as my "other" but since I'm sober I will go with Green Bay.....

This will depend on Brett Favre. I can't answer until I have his answer

Not really. It won't be any of those teams

Nah he is way past his prime to lead any one to the Superbowl.  At least the Patroits weren't included in this poll but sure they will be on the "other" list...

Who will win the Superbowl this year? Hum....let's see....they have already won three and do a fourth. Brady and Co. pull out all the stops and the PATRIOTS come out on top.

Nope- those other 3 Superbowls won by the Patriots were won in the years that the AFC East WAS WEAK! No defenses put any pressure on them in their Division which kept them relatively healthy all season. The Division is better now and has some decent defenses in it and the Patriots O-Line is a shade of what it used to be! No cakewalk this season and NO SUPERBOWL for the Pats- sorry!

Well I can tell you this. The Cowboys won't win it for sure. NE has a way better shot. Cowboys wont even win the playoffs to get to the SB

I guess we will see then. Of course the Patriots have a better shot- they are a good team who plays in a much weaker Division than the Cowboys do- but they aren't even CLOSE to the team they were 3 years ago.

My super bowl prediction was Chargers over Vikings but now I have to go Cahrgers over Cardinals since the Vikings got Favre.

i don't disagree with you on any of the points you made, besides maybe the cowboys, who will not make the playoffs. I agree the pats won't have a cake walk, but they will make postseason, winning superbowl? Hopefully, but also maybe.

Man you got a PQ twice because you told the truth to all the Patriots "fans" out there.  I have to agree with you on the Vin, they were in a weak division and that's how they got so far.  But I guess when we have the toughest division out there we expect more from teams.  How much you wanna bet that those same die-hards are now Steelers fans this year.  The same ones that you see with a Pats sticker alongside their Yanks sticker on their car with plates from Iowa or Oregon.  And with this comment let the drama begin.

You speak the TRUTH my Brother!!!  Funny how we don't see anymore PATRIOTS gear out here in Vegas or anybody WEARING any Patriots gear either......Seems like after their loss to the G-Men- their BANDWAGON fans jumped ship- now it's all Steelers gear out here... LOL

My preseason pick was Giants over the Chargers.  W/ just 3 tests, it'd be immature to waffle on that.  But the Chargers, thus far, have not played up to potential.

I would have to be drinking to pick Oakland to win ummmmmmm just about any game.  I believe it is to early to say yet but Green Bay has to pick it up to get there, lots of good teams this year.

It's too hard to repeat as Super Bowl champs, so it will be somebody different.  I'd like to see a team that hasn't been there before...geaux Saints!!!

I find it very interesting that a Cowboys fan would include the Cowboys as having the potential to win the Super Bowl.  So these are the top 4 teams that you feel have the best chance?

My first thought was which Super Bowl, but then realized that you specified “this year”.

Really?

I think it would have been gutsy of you to have predicted that the Cowboys win a post season game, let alone the Super Bowl.

Might I remind you that it has been 4674 days since the Cowboys last playoff win.

To put this into context- My 12 1/2 year old, 7th grade middle school daughter was not born yet.

If the Cowboys do win a playoff game this year, my first question will be “who was the QB and what happened to Romo”?

I feel that by you offering the Cowboys as an option ahead of several other NFL teams simply exposes your fan bias and lack of intellectual honesty. Sorry, not trying to be mean- just honest.

It’s great to cheer for your team but let’s be realistic.

Homer pick of course, the Steelers...but with good reason....if they stay healthy, the same team is on the field as last season, minus Nate Washington and Bryan McFadden. Mike Wallace is a legitimate game changer, added to a much improved offense this year. If they can cure their fumble woes, and play Steeler defense, they can do it. No team is unstoppable and I feel very comfortable with Dick LeBeau scheming against the Pats or Colts.

If it is not the Steelers, I think the Saints have a really good shot this year...their offense is scary balanced (just fix the playcalling so it becomes that) with a combo of very good WR's to go with a nice 1-2-3 RB punch...Pierre Thomas continues his under the radar status, since Bell gets all the TD's, but I think that guy has the potential to be great...just USE HIM!!!! Bell is a good compliment, and Bush still has some value when you want some trickery or flat out speed and create some mismatches on pass plays.
With the Saints, their D must continue to play the way they have, and not last week vs. the Dolphins...Had Ted Ginn not had his debilitating Braylonitis come back with a vengance, the Doplhins would have won that game.

So, Saints/Steelers Super Bowl.

I think its a joke saying they wont make the playoffs. 5-2 with two questionable calls in both losses.

This poll is obsolete. It figures they put the Cowboys and Steelers on there but OP forgot to put the Saints, Colts, and Patriots as a choice....Poll should be deleted.

Yea three years ago everybody was healthy. We had nobody injured and Brady was on top of the world.
