+5 thumbs upLooked at the 2008 scheds (http://www.secfootball.itgo.com/2008schedule.html), and gotta say that the spacing of the sched favors Florida.  From 10/25 to 11/15, GA gets a murderer's row of LSU, Fla, UK, and Auburn.  Brutal! Would not be surprised to see LSU come out of the West regardless of their QB situation because their sched is more favorably paced than Auburn's (Auburn has 2 tough out of conference games against WVU and USM to further wear upon them).  I'll pick Florida, but only because of the scheduling...

+1 thumbs upI was going to take Georgia at first, but I have a crazy feeling about Auburn this year.

+2 thumbs upI like Georgia however comma the schedule does not favor them...As much as I can't stand UF I think they have a chance with their offense and maybe their defense will come around.

+1 thumbs upI like LSU's chances if our QB can stay out of trouble for the next year. If he gets kicked off again I have to say the Gators look like they have the best chance of getting to the championship.

The dawgs have a tough slate this year...LSU before the bye week going into our game.

They will have to play a whole season like they tend to play the last 4 games of the year and they haven't done that.

+1 thumbs upI think Georgia has retained enough of it's talent to compete.  LSU shouldn't be near the team they were this year.  Fla and Tebow will prove to be rather average.  Kentucky goes back to it's losing ways.  Auburn continues it's low point.  Arkansas lost 2 awesome RBs.  Bama, is well, Bama.  Tennesee might make some noise.  Vandy...won't.  South Carolina, is gonna surprise, but I think they'll lose their game to Georgia, and wind up behind them.  The best team from Mississippi will be Southern Miss, and they're C-USA anyway.

+2 thumbs upSince the BCS began in 1998 no SEC team that has played a road game at Florida, UGA, LSU, or Arkansas has gone on to win the title.  If the trend holds then the SEC will be won by Auburn or Arkansas.  I'll go with Auburn.

2 of those teams never play each other at home (UF vs UGA play in Jacksonville) and because the West has only had 2 winners in that time frame (LSU & Auburn), I don't see that Arkansas is even mentionable because they are rotational with the East teams, same with LSU.
