I think that Favre would be a great fit to the NY Jets & feel that NY Jets may have a better offense then GB Packers! I feel that L. Coles & J. Cotchery are better then G. Jennings & D. Driver. Thomas Jones would be a great fit for Favre & make it alot easy for Favre because Thomas Jones is a great pass catcher in the back field but Ryan Grant would have a soild season! Chris Baker would have a break out season with Favre at QB & dont forget about Bubba Franks who I think Favre may know pretty good LoL & dont forget about Tony Richardson who is one of the best FB of all-times in my mind& who a great blocker would easy it up for Favre.

+3 thumbs upthe problem here is that before the Jets gained Favre they were building a run dominant team. this is where they moved off season. left guard, right tackle, outside linebacker, nose tackle and tight end. this is the 26 ranked offense last year! laverneous coles can catch balls when hes not on his back from injury hes also 30. they passed on a Devin thomas to take a blocking tight end.

their best bet is brad smith whos fast but cant run routes well. Also, of the the first 4 games, theyre against SD and NE. Plus we forget about Thomas Jones!! his line was horrible last year and he still made over a thousand rushing.

This is all against pretty much the same favreless playoff team last year. my opinion favre will be handing off, Rodgers will be passing. you make the call

Donald Driver and Greg Jennings have both shown themselves to be more reliable and productive than Coles or Cotchery, and Ryan Grant was far more productive than Thomas Jones last season.  Also, the Green Bay defense is miles ahead of New York's.  There's simply NOTHING to suggest that New York is the better team, aside from signing an arrogant old man at quarterback who will likely go back to throwing an unacceptable number of interceptions now that he's out of McCarthy's system.

I dunno i think if laverneus coles had a more consistant qb then he can easily be just as effective as both of GB's WR's

uhh.........actually, they passed on devin thomas to take dustin keller, the most pass-savvy tight end in the draft....hell, hes horrible at blocking....where do you get your information?....

+1 thumbs upWay to back up your position with...  oh, wait....  nothing at all.  The Packers have arguably the best cornerback tandem in the league (along with Bailey/Bly), one of the NFL's best DEs in Aaron Kampman, and a very solid group of linebackers with Barnett and Hawk.  What do the Jets have to offer?  Kerry Rhodes is very good, and David Harris looks very solid, but their defense simply isn't on the same level.
