Assume that LT, Steven Jackson, Joseph Addai, Tom Brady, Adrian Peterson, Clinton Portis, Peyton Manning, Brian Westbrook, Frank Gore, Marion Barber, and Marshawn Lynch are all gone...Scoring is standard 6 pts td 1 pt for every 10 rushing and receiving...1 pt. per 30 passing, and 3 point bonus for 300 yard passing and 100 rush and receiving yards

+6 thumbs upMoss and follow it up with TO...now you got 2 great WR's and trade bait for a RB if you can't land 2 starters...Will Moss be there is the real question

+2 thumbs upYou have got to get at least one running back here.  My bet is though one of the running backs you assume is gone will be there because someone will reach too high for Moss/TO.

There are less than 24 full time running backs not splitting carries... in a 12 team league, if you can get two, you are ahead of most people.

If you're drafting late, RBs are overrated.  Its all about getting the most elite players possible at each position, particularily with passing becoming so much more prevelant.

+2 thumbs upJust like Derms said...Moss then TO...if one of those two are gone, do the remaining plus Braylon Edwards...if both are gone, take Edwards and Anderson.

I gotta agree w/ Derms and Shrewd.  Moss won't put up quite the #'s he did last year, but he's still the #1 receiver and he still has Brady throwing to him.  Then I'd go TO.  W/ Glenn now gone for good, and Crayton iffy, TO will have even more thrown his way.

T.O. & R. Moss for sure.

Moss and T.O. no doubt. The difference between a first and fourth tier wide reicever are huge. Not so much with the running backs. Load up those wide recievers!

+3 thumbs upConsidering you won't get a pick again until the very end of the 3rd round, how many RB's that are going to get at least a 100 carries do you think will be left?  At least 27 teams have 2 WR's that are going to go close to 85 Rec and 1000 yds.  That's 54 WR's to choose from.  Only 14 teams do not use a tandem RB situation, so the chances of landing a 1000 yd rusher in the 3rd and 4th rounds are slim to none.  If you do not grab a back that will get 300+ carries and 1200 yds, you will never compete in a fantasy league.

however my league is ran differently...after the first 2 rounds "snake" we draw out of a hat to determine which team number starts the next round...that way everyone gets to start off a round

+1 thumbs upI completely agree... You have to have good RB's to win a standard fantasy league and waiting until the end of the third round is unwise. I would pick a RB and then the best available player whether its a WR, RB, or QB. I'd probably pick Larry Johnson or Willie Parker and Moss. I think Parker improves from last year (itll be hard not to with only 2 TD's) and Mendenhall will play but I see him in the same role as Davenport played last year.

Get yourself a receiver and a QB before they are all gone.... Randy Moss and Tony Romo would be awesome picks!!! 3 of the Top 10 fantasy scorers in my league last season were QB's- Brady, Romo, and Favre!!!

I lucked out on one of my drafts the other night. I got T.O. and Moss with the 10th and 11th picks. In the third rond I got Andre Johnson. Now I have three #1 wrs to light it up this year.

last year in every one of my drafts I took Peterson and Lynch in the third and fourth rounds. It worked out very well for me. It doesn't happen every year, but you never can tell...
