+6 thumbs upWhat did Manny do spray paint the lockerroom on the way out?  Come on MLB, you got other problems to worry about. Quit wasting time and money.

+2 thumbs upIf they really wanted to, they might begin by interviewing the manager & coaches, front office people, his agent and watch the games where he tanked it.  If they interviewed Ramirez himself, then they best be prepared to bring along a child psychologist.

+2 thumbs upWas Manny in any way in the right? No. In most other professions would he have been outright fired? Yes. Is this situation any of MLB's business? NO! The only wrongdoing here is MLB even getting involved.

+3 thumbs upThere were allegations that Manny's agent told the Sox that Manny would essentially tank for the Sox unless they guaranteed that the Sox would NOT pick up his option for 2009. This was allegedly because Manny's agent (Scott Boras) hasn't yet negotiated a contract for Manny, and wants to pick up his cut of Manny's next contract ASAP.

The investigation has since been dropped, so apparently there is not enough evidence of wrongdoing. If the league could actually prove that the rumors were true, then I think it would have been a pretty big deal. But since there wasn't enough to it, I think it should just be dropped. Obviously there wasn't enough evidence. If Boras had REALLY said that to the Sox, I'm sure something would have been done about it.

Manny, how's that knee problem that kept you from playing in Boston?

Now, you're flying around in left field in LA.

Hmmm...busted.

+1 thumbs upHe's not the first person to fake an injury, and he won't be the last.  There was nothing wrong with the way he left Boston, and you got a new LF who will do his job without complaining.  So to those of you who answered yes, SHUT UP!

+1 thumbs upWell there was definitely something wrong with the way he left Boston, but that's between him and Boston. Everybody else (MLB, Media etc.) should just butt out!!
