Will signing Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff be a good move or a bad move for TNA?
It looks like TNA has done the unthinkable and sold itself to the devil by signing Hulk Hogan to a contract.  Will this ultimately be a good move for the struggling company or will it be the type of move that signals the beginning of the end for TNA?

Your thoughts?

My son pretty much stopped watching wrestling after a few events over the past decade or so.  I would watch casually with him at times.  One of the events was the Eddie Guerrero death.  Another was the Benoit debacle.  And the other was the events behind Terry Boleas son's vegging of his supposed best friend and not even so much as the event itself but the way the family handled it.  All of these events led to good life discussions for me and my son so for that there is one thing to thank wrestling for.  All of the garbage that exists and the real people that do stupid things opened my son's eyes to these things for good father son reality discussions.  That said, if we still watched at times, Hulk Hogan coming anywhere would make us shut down for sure.  Just my opinion but I am sure there are others out there that have the same thoughts on him.   His self defense mechanism makes him just a poor example of a human being.  That has been handed down to his son so we now have two complete derelects to humanity in the world. I like to have forgiveness in my heart but I can't seem to find it for people that have no remorse.  That is one of the lessons my son has learned that I am fully behind as that is the way I feel.

In the short term, the name value alone of Hulk Hogan will be an asset to what TNA wants to do in securing a better primetime deal with Spike TV.  However, if TNA plans on giving Hogan and Bischoff creative control to do whatever they want, TNA wont last past the next year or so.  Hulk Hogan is an egomaniac who is past his prime, yet that wont stop him from burying the AJ Styles, Christopher Daniels, MotorCity MachineGuns and Samoa Joe's of the world.  Hogan has never been one to help the younger guys get over, instead choosing to try and hold onto a legacy that has gone well past his prime.  Would any of us be shocked if Hogan ends up as TNA champion within the next couple of months?  Of course not, and it probably will come in a match with Kevin Nash, a match that might've interested people back in the early 90's.  TNA has alot of good talent on there roster and I enjoy watching there product.  That said, I cant imagine forking over the 35 dollars to watch the has been Hulk Hogan limp his way down to the ring and put on a 5 minute squash match with a big boot and a leg drop.  That would've made me pop when i was 7 years old, not so much now

More MCMG please.

TNA needs to make some smart business decisions. I wonder if Vince Russo really is this bad of a creative writer. I almost feel as though I could book TNA programming more well than Russo and Ferrara.
