The Saints have the team to go undefeated, I just don't know if they'll do it.  It's just to hard to do it.  Every one has to stay healthy, every one has to stay on his A-game, the calls have to go their way ( just ask the Pats about the Baltimore game!), the breaks have to go in their favor...I'd love to see them do it!  I'm pulling for them to do it.  We'll see as the season progresses.

The Saints will not go undefeated throughout the rest of the season, I am sure they will have a few tough games the rest of the year.

I DONT know, the thing that used to hurt the Saints was beating teams they were not supposed to beat and lose to the teams......you get the idea...... Thats what I worry about, and I bet the Saints do to....  its bad enough they face the Pats,
the Cowboys and the Falcons again. The more they win, the tougher it will be to go 16-0, and beyond. We'll see.
#4 | 14 days ago

It's great that we get New England and Dallas at home. Going to Atlanta will be tough, and u know them and Carolina will throw everything they have to knock us off.
#5 | 12 days ago

It doesn't matter - will they go to the playoffs, YES.  It's one of those things that just happens and you shouldn't hope for it or keep a watch on it...

if they take each game as itself and not get carried away with all the hype that comes with being undefeated,go slow and steady dont rush into any situation and play smart ball control and the defense keeps doing what it did yesterday and noone critical gets hurt yes that can go undefeated but lets not rush into anything just yet......

Answered totally with the Heart...I think they can go Undefeated but i think they will drop one along the way.

ALTHOUGH IT WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE A UNDEFEATED SEASON, EVERY GREAT TEAM NEEDS A FEW LOSSES TO KEEP THEM HUMBLE, I DONT KNOW WHO WILL BEAT THEM, MAYBE ATLANTA  ON THE SECOND GAME  WITH THE SAINTS AND NEW ENGLAND, BUT I DO PREDICT THEY WILL END UP 14-2 FOR THE REGULAR SEASON AND GO UNDEFEATED IN THE PLAYOFFS AND SUPERBOWL.

That defense is allowing a lot of points every game, 1 of these days that offense won't be able to comeback.

In most of those games the points they give up are garbage points after they are already up by 20, Which was the case the first two games. Also they beat the Jets scoring only one offencive touchdown. So they have shown they can win as well when their offence has a sub par day.

Ummm...the Colts have come way closer to losing than the Saints have so far. The past two weeks the Colts have been on the ropes, now they get to play New England.

The saints do have the capability to go undefeated, but coach Payton knows what he has to do to win. I, just like every other saints fan who has been cheering for this team even thru the( bag over the head era)would love to see them go undefeated but the truth of the matter is that to keep your team healthy and focus you will have to sit your starters out once you clinch home field advantage. That may be the time when they loose a game.I hope not, But i would take Superbowl for our city than a undefeated season any time.

#19 | 12 days ago

They will loose to: New England, Dallas, or Atlanta.

I would also love to see them do it, been watching since they formed, but I just don't see it happening.  They are doing so well, but will probably lose at least 2 games during the season.  Just my take on it for what it's worth.

We will definitely lose against the  pats only if we start the first half like we have been playing the last 3 games. Patriots are a strong team and well put together by a coach that is master of the game, not to live out a couple of rings and let's not forget a Tom Brady who makes intelligent decisions in the pocket. Saints must play smart be quicker to the punch and remember that we are home.

After being at the Carolina game yesterday and seeing how well they played the Saints in the first half at the Dome, I have to say that I really don't think a perfect season is in the cards for the Saints this year after all. For one thing, even if the Saints can take care of New England and Dallas at home like I think they will and then can still sweep Atlanta at their house, the Falcons and the Panthers should be at each others' throats going for 2nd place in the division and a wildcard spot so Carolina should still have a lot to be playing for in that last game of the year against the Saints at their house and the Saints will be sitting most of their key starters to save them for the playoffs at home so we will lose that last game at least.

Darren Sharper said "8-0 is nice but we want to go 19-0. That's our goal."

No because even if the saint go 14-0 the coaches will rest the starters for the playoffs....The record is nice but it is not worth losing a starter over a meaning less game when the play off is winner stays looser goes home.....

The Buccaneers are worse than the Panthers but not by much. Between Fox's inane game management, Peppers playing only when he wants to, and Delhomme being the worst QB in the league they are horrible.
btw, Pointing out the obvious certainly makes you no smarter than Paris Hilton...think about that.
If you are trying to rile me, not gonna happen. The NFL is cyclical and the Buccaneers will be just fine. Enjoy the moment as a Saints fan;  I know it's been 40 years in the making. I could also find a dozen teams that have started 8-0 and not won the Super Bowl...still a long ways to go.

I wouldn't say that they suck. They are Way WAY better than Tampa bay (no pun intended) and are just not playing very well. Just like Tennessee. Weren't they like 14-0 in the first 14 games last season?! This season they "suck" but are really just not playing well. Tampa Bay, who you are a fan of, Hasn't had a good team in a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG time so I would not be talking!!!
Anyway, GO FALCONS!!!

A LOOOOOOOONG Time ?? in your world I guess that means less than a year...weird How old are you? Six? That's the only way you could possibly consider LESS THAN A YEAR a LOOOOOOOOONG time?
The Buccaneers were 9-3 last season and leading the NFC South.
Hey, can you become a fan of the Saints too? That way you would have the entire NFC South covered.

Well I guess you've got it all covered...no matter who wins you'll be happy tomorrow....it's called being a true fan. Your celebration of one of your two favorite NFL teams beating the other tomorrow will be sweet, I'm sure. Almost as sweet as when the Falcons and Panthers won the Super Bowl.

Have the Buccaneers never had back-to-back winning seasons?
Have the Buccaneers ever lost 15 games in a single season?

I bet the Vikings will win the NFC. The only good team left on MIN schedule is CIN. The Saints still have NE, DAL, ATL and CAR.      MIN is only 1 game behind NO and I bet their gonna caught em and to get to a Super Bowl you will have to go through MIN (very hard place to win). Plus if you look at the way their team is built, they have just what is needed to beat NO.

1. Peterson will keep Brees off the field
2. Allen will keep Brees under pressure
3. Front seven will shut down Thomas, Bush and Bell
4. Favre will manage the game with no TOs
5. Winfield will contain Colston

Looks good..except for #4 (interesting that it was NUMBER 4)....you sure about that one....because Brett Favre has just as much history of choking in the playoffs as he has of winning.

Yeah but Favre is having his best season ever. He has never played with a RB as good as AP, so in the playoffs everything won't depend on his arm. All he has to do is manage the game.
