We all have seen the quarterbacks taken in the 2008 NFL Draft and the class seems to have some great signal callers.  Many had great seasons at their respective schools in the last year or two but I am interested in who will have the greatest impact on there respective teams in the near future.  I am really interested in seeing what the rest of the FanIQ community thinks about it.

+5 thumbs upRyan just because he will end up being the only starter in his rookie season. However, in the long run you have to give it to Joe Flacco who has the same QB traits as Big Ben.

Matt Ryan because he starts the most games and maybe gets the Falcons another win or two than last season. The Falcons are the new laughingstock of the NFL. Poor Matt.

+2 thumbs upI just hope Ryan doesn't get shell-shock from the pounding he will likely take this season.  I would hate to see his career ruined early on.

Ryan will do a little better than some believe in my opinion...I just had to watch too much of him in the ACC.  He can flat get it done and he's smart as a whip as well as talented.

Flacco will surprise a lot of people but I believe that Brian Brohm may be the QB that has the mental skills and QB attitude RIGHT KNOW to go out on the field and play.  He's a solid player and will serve his team well when called!

+1 thumbs up   I totally agree with you.  As an immediate impact, I think Matt Ryan will be the man for sure.  But within the next three years, I think Brian Brohm will have a huge impact on the Packers franchise.  I think he will be one of those QBs that will change the franchise.  To me, Brohm seems to have the mental toughness and the body of a younger Peyton Manning.  I think that if all those young players keep developing, he should be on a good road to succeed.  I know that I am going far by saying that he could have the impact like a Peyton Manning but I really do believe that.  I think he will do just like Carson Palmer did his first year....sit on the bench and learn the offense.  But after a full year in the NFL, it will be his team.  I agree too about his attitude.  he is a nie and respectful guy and always puts the team first.  I think that Brohm has one of the brightest future's for a QB in quite sometime.

I don't think it would be a homer pick at all for you to take Brian Brohm.  If you look at the situation he is walking into with Favre being done there and Aaron Rodgers contract will be up next year, I think its a very smart choice.  I had to pick Brohm as having the best chance of reaching a Super Bowl in the next few years of all the other teams with rookie QBs.  Brohm is destined to be great in this league and I know you have told me that for as long as I have known you.

LOL, okay I understand I said that awhile back but I can say now that you were right and it took me awhile to realize that!  I remember you saying that at the end of last College Football season!  So I apologize.  He is gonna be a really great QB though!
