Your Worst Prediction
While FanIQ was founded to hold the "experts" accountable, us as users obviously aren't perfect either. What's the one prediction you've made that you wish you could take back?

+8 thumbs up

The one I remember the most, I predicted (loudly, and to anyone who would listen) that Shawn Bradley would be a better NBA player than Shaq.

I have a friend who still reminds me of that...regularly.

That my Ducks would make it past the first round of the playoffs See what happens when I get cocky?

Toss up between last year's NBA playoffs, when I predicted the Mavs to win the title, and this year's season, when I predicted the Bulls to win the East.

Of course, if I lose to the coin, that might be the ultimate embarrassment.

+2 thumbs up

I generally try to forget any bad predictions I made, but the year that Iowa State was a 2 seed and lost in the first round (2001 maybe?), they were my national champion.  Nothing like literally losing your bracket on the first night.

Every prediction I made for Super Bowl XLI.

I lost a lot of points by being a homer.

I bet that Alabama would win more than 7 games last season.  I obviously lost that bet and was supposed to change my profile pic.  But the guy who bet with me hasn't been seen since the end of football season.

+5 thumbs upEvery year I predict that this would be the year that I do well on the NCAAB March Madness bracket and every year, I end up near the bottom.  There's nothing like getting your butt kicked by your sister who has no idea who's who in college basketball.  In fact, it's gotten so bad that she looks at mine and picks the opposite and for the 5th straight year, she's ended up in the money.

I thought the Vikings picking Adrian Peterson was a giant mistake.  How'd that work out?

Oh yeah, and I had the Bears in the Super Bowl this year.

Well, I have been predicting for, well now, 6 or so years that my Kings would be better this season and make the playoffs.

There is always next year.

+1 thumbs upLast year I predicted that Carl Pavano would win at least 10 games for the Yankees. That was one of my dumber homer moments.

In the 2005 NCAA Tournament, I think I had Oklahoma winning it all.  They lost in the second round to 6 seed Utah.  At least I had Illinois in the Championship.

That come to mind, Michigan would win the National Championship last year, and then they start off 0-2 (damn Appalachain State!). And my preseason Super Bowl picks were New Orleans and San Diego.  They both righted the ship eventually, but when they started 0-4 and 1-3, I felt like an idiot.  Oh, and when the Giants were 0-2, I threw in the towel for the season.  But who didn't?
