The Canucks missed the playoffs, and the Rangers proved just how overrated the Devils were to get to the playoffs...so the correct answer is currently THEY'RE BOTH BAD.

  I have always liked the Devils over the years, especially after they crushed the Red Wings in the 1995 S/Cup Final. The problem for them is G.M. Lou Lamarillo, who is highly touted by so many, has his head up his A%^. The guy doesn't make any deals anymore, and has let Scott Gomez get away, Scott Niedermeyer, Peter Sykora and on and on and he only signs hasbeeens. Brodeur can only do so much, especially in todays NHL. The Devils are good, but clearly no cup contender without better players to support Brodeur, Neil broten is a start, but they need more.
