Are SEC officials tainting the quality of SEC games?
Lane Kiffen and Dan Mullen were both censured by the SEC over their comments about the officiating in last weekends games.  Yet the SEC just suspended a whole crew because video evidence was not supporting the calls they were making on the field.  With more SEC coaches commenting on what they see as erroneous calls by SEC officiating, do you think this will hurt the SEC come the post season?  As in, "the only reason this team beat that team is because this official blew a call" and give a more favorable position to another team.

How did they get the Dustin Doe int return wrong?  He didn't get it in the end zone before he fumbled.  Do the Gators get every call, or what?

I don't think the fix is in, human error is an element of the game. I have said for a long time that this censorship of the coaches and players is ridiciulous. As long as these refs are not presented to the media to answer questions about their errors. Then don't fine the players and coaches when they do answer the questions. The leagues and conferences require the players and coaches to do these press conferences. The media wants answers as to how they feel about the errors the refs made. Someone needs to give an answer. No one from the league or conference ever says anything. So if you aren't going to make the refs accountable, then don't fine the coaches and players when they do answer questions nobody else wants to. Why are refs considered above being held accountable for their errors?

I don't think it will affect anything for the BCS eligble teams from the SEC. Something else will happen and make everyone forget about this situtation. If anything it will help the losing teams if they are at .500 by season ends. Some bowl selection committee might look at the situtation and say "if it wasn't for errors by officials, so and so might have won that game and have another win." It could give that school a better shot at a bigger bowl game.

That's three weeks in a row that Florida has gotten the benefit of a call or non-call that has changed the flow of a game. The offensive pass interference that was not called on Riley Cooper @LSU, the defensive pass interference and personal foul calls that were made against Arkansas, and then not overturning the TD on Doe's interception return @ Miss State. I'm not saying that if these calls were made or not made that it would have changed the outcome of the game, it's just the timing of when these calls happened. Officiating mistakes are part of the game, good teams over come them. But when these errors become more of a topic than the games themselves....!
