As much as i hate the Pats they are a power house team right now just like the Saints and they have the best chance of beating the Saints this year. If they do not lose to the Pats then they will go all the way. I am a Dolphins fan so i would know just how hard it is to beat the Pats but also all that the teams need to look at is how the Dolphins took it to the Saints but hold themselves together at the end to win it. I like the saints and say this is their season, they will be the new NFL champs.

If not to the Cowboys, the Pats have a chance.  They will suffer a defeat to the "Boys, just a question of if they are up to the chalenge.  The Saints and Cowboys will meet in the playoffs.

I think the Patriots can do it.  They are playing well and with confidence.

Brees is a beast! The Saints have everything in place! They really dont have a weakness. They didnt panic against the Dolphins when they were down. And against Atlanta, at times it look like Brees was playing with them. He has really matured as a top NFL quarterback. He reads defenses just as good as Peyton or Tom Brady! The Patriots will probably give them a run, but the Pats secondary is weak. I can see the Saints going all the way!

on paper, they could run the table, but even the Bucs could sneak up on them, you never know.

I think this is a schedule that is almost too soft. I voted Falcons only because I can't pile on the Pat bus, figuratively, but NE comes in after 3 weeks of scrimmages, and I think that hurts the Saints. If anything, the Steelers schedule last season proved they could beat anyone, week in week out, and instilled a huge amount of confidence and swagger. Feeding off cream puffs...? One is okay, 6 out of 9, watchout for becoming fat and lazy and getting smacked in the proverbial fat mouth by a strong defensive team, like say Vikings or Eagles.

Still, Saints are scary good so far. I can't think of a more balanced team. The Vikings are close, with the Eagles & Steelers in that discussion as well. Now that I have watched a few Saints games, here is my only concern: Every single game I have watched has had a defensive touchdown, and key INT's (drive killers, in the Red zone, etc). At some point, you will play a team that does not throw an INT, or fumble.

That is where that offense comes in though. A lot of options, with depth...scary~if Pierre Thomas played on any other team(that did not take him out or could get so pass heavy), he'd be top-3 in the league. My Top 5...All Day, CJ, Pierre, MJD, and Michael Turner.

Excellent, and very good points! Yes the Saints have a easy schedule! And you are right! The history of teams doing well seem to take it not so seriously when they play an easy team. Example the Bucs. Then look at the Pats in the great year of theirs, and then go to the Super Bowl and lose. When they were heavily picked to win it all. Week in and week out they can lose anytime. By getting just lazy! Pierre is great if he stays healthy, Bell aint to bad himself!

I believe the Saints will make it all the way, but winning, we will see.

Still rollin' 7-0 baby!

But I have to say I'm a bit worried about Carolina's running game after they won in Arizona. But on the other side of the ball, there's no way Jake Delhomme beats us, lol. Obviously the Patriots game in the Dome will be the one to watch, and going to Atlanta later on. Maybe at Carolina the last week if we rest everyone.

the saints are for real there for they will only lose to a really good team . i.e. the pat's , i do think a win will not hurt them in the long run.

I think My Patriots have a very good chance at winning against the Saints, I don't doubt that the Saints won't give up a fight. My Pats will do their best to do what's in their blood and that's to play some Football.. I expect a good game.....

I think it will happen in a shoot-out, so I'm going to say the Pats. I could see them hangin' 40-something on the Saints. 46-39 or something crazy.

SAINTS WILL BEAT PATS  ATLANTA    IT IS THERE TURN     WHO DAT
#21 | 15 days ago

If the Saints look past the Bucs and concentrate on the Patriots, the Bucs could surprise them like they did the Packers.  I don't think the Saints will though.  The Saints will have home field advantage throughout the playoffs.
