Is it too early to talk about getting a new coach?
So what do you think?

Too early to talk about canning Rich Rod or not?

Rich is actually exceeding my expectations this year; at times he truly has looked like a coach that can actually win a National Championship.

They're heading in the right direction, have to give him at least 4 years.

Michigan was heading in the wrong direction before Rich Rod ever got there.  When he got there, he essentially decided to blow things up and start over.  I'd have to assume that the administration was on board with that idea.  The team showed some potential early and then fell apart in conference play which will happen with young teams. Tate Forcier will be a stud in this system.  I have no doubt Rich Rod, given time, will get Michigan back to where they are used to being.

It took Mi 100 years to have a loosing season. It took Rich Rod to give us 2 loosing season in the same century.  Just saying.

As a Wolverine ..... this is hard to take.

All I'm gonna say, because I have had enough cocktails that the potential is there for me to go on a long rant.

Thanks for answering everyone !!

Give him one more year- and if the Wolverine's don't improve, it's time to start looking elsewhere!

I have to change my opinion! What a disgrace the way the wolerines played today. They lost to Purdue. I give Purdue credit. They looked good and played great! RichRod needs to fix the problem and do it now, or his ass might be on the line!

Lets face it; Michigan isn't going to make to a bowl game this year.Come next season Rich Rod better go not less than 9 win and the defence has to be greatly improved or beat OSU if not he's going to get run out of there.

The Great Wall of China was built by soldiers, prisoners, and the common people It was built over 2,000 years ago, by Qin Shi Huangdi, the first emperor of China during the Qin (Ch'in) Dynasty (221 B.C - 206 B.C.).The Great Wall of China was designed to perform the most basic defensive war principle: Keep the good guys in and the bad guys out. Where am I going with this? Hecked if I know...

The sharks are circling, read between the lines.  Reports that Michigan didn't file practice times, Harbaugh, former Michigan player doing well at Stanford is getting talked about being the hottest coach right now, the players early this season complaining about excessive practice time, etc.,  the smoke is looking like a fire for Rich Rod.  I'll bet that behind the scenes there are a lot of unhappy boosters working the phones right now.  If the Buckeyes run it up this week, who knows?
#16 | 3 days ago

Don't jump for Harbaugh just yet; 1 good season doesn't make a good coach
