Welcome back. This is the part of the locker room where you can sit and chat and chill for a while without offending or being shushed. Maybe you wanna watch a dvd or listen to your mp3. Yes, I rhymed. Something on your mind, post it! Random question, ask it? Hijacking is allowed and encouraged. Join the party, troll around, have a beer. It's cool. All are welcome, but please leave all BS in the hall.

Ash seems to be MIA so I'm subbing.  Hope she doesn't kill me because she's already mad at me.

My son and I went to the CUBS-RED SOX game on Saturday night!  I had no idea I was in Boston?!? I guess they tore down the Green Monster and replaced it with Ivy!  There was a sh** load of BSOX fans in attendance!  WOW!

Sunday, for sperm day, I mean Father Day, I met up with my dad, sister, niece and nephew and my son for Lunch and then went back to my dad's condo and used the pool for a few hours!  It was soo relaxing and just what I needed!

Here are some pics;

My son and I at the Cubs game, Jon Lester warming up in the bullpen and Vince Vaughn was the 7th inning singer (my son took a picture of his name on the scoreboard)

Spent the weekend upstate camping, mountain hiking, and fishing. I'm all sun burnt and aching, glad to be back to electricity, air conditioning, and a soft bed. It's funny how much of the necessities people take for granted.

Have a good Monday, maybe

Oh yeah! In other news (BULLS FANS), The BULLS may trade to obtain a Lottery Pick.  With D.ROSE out for almost the entire season, the Bulls may be willing to part with Deng, Hamilton, Gibson, Asik....of course we know they want to get rid of Boozer, to land someone to take ROSES's spot for next year.

Although, Rudy Gay, Iguodala and Grainger are FA's and they could try and go after one of those guys as well?  I would still like to see them try and land Pau Gasol as well.  I know some Laker fans that would be happy if he doesn't return, but, I think he's still got game left and it was more of their stupid ass coach that screwed up his season in 2011-2012!

Um, did you hear about the party after the show? I think I'm gonna go, but, um,  my friends don't really wanna go, can I get a ride?

So I played baseball yesterday and as I rolled into the parking lot it was 99 degrees.  It felt like I was wearing sweatpants and a hoodie it was so damn hot out there.  But I was able to muster up the energy to bust open the game late with a bases clearing 3 run double that one hopped the alley at 405.. Warning track power.. But we won, no one passed out, things were good

Congrats to Webb Simpson winning the US Open with a hell of a weekend on a brutal course

I hope everyone had a happy father's day.  I really need to find a way to keep J out of her family occasions

Wanted to go see Moonrise kingdom this weekend and the cheeky little indie theater and holy crap did it sell out quick.. Maybe this coming weekend.  I also need to see Safety Not Guaranteed.  Locker Room movie review blog anyone? Hmmm, it's possible

When you hear the stories about bath salts, what part of it actually makes you go, you know what, I think I wanna try that? Personally I hope these rednecks keep doing it

Had a good day Sunday. Went over to a friends for a barby, she tried lighting it before I got there so now her bangs are shorter now..sheesh! Off to the dentist in awhile. I hate when he constantly asks me if it hurts, I just reply "Only when you give me the bill your over-paid SOB! " :) Have a good week fellow Qers

You wouldn't stand a chance at darts if I play the way I did Friday night.  I was in the "6-10 beer zone" and doing work, son!  You jelly?  However, I've never played that well in my life.

I got rocked on Friday day/night and still managed to make our 9:07 tee time at Chick Evans on Saturday morning.  Then I drank 7-8 beers while playing golf before going out again Saturday night.  May have found my new ND bar.

Speaking of new places, if you like Thai, check out Opart in Lincoln Square.  Hot damn is it good.....and cheap!  I went with the D45 (IIRC) which is a broccoli/noodle/beef dish....and the sauce...man that stuff was off the chain.  I wanted to pour what I had remaining into a cup and drink it, but it would of embarrassed my sister.

Tons of Sox fans on Friday too and I was with two of them - my BIL is from Cape Cod, but his company gave us the tix so I'm not complaining.  Plus we won.  You're obviously a bad luck charm and need to stop attending games.

- Over the weekend R&B abuser, er, singer Chris Brown had a big fight with rapper Drake alegedly over ex-girlfriend Rhianna

If we trade Taj I'm going to be livid, especially for what we basically have in Luol Deng (Granger and Gay).  Pau is on the wrong side of 30 and clearly regressing at this point.  Taj and Rose are the only two untouchable players imo, unless Deng decides to have the surgery and skip the Olympics (not likely).  If we could somehow find a sucker to take Boozer.....I'd be stoked.

I so see the fight -  Chris Brown slaps some random chic he is with , she throws a bottle at his abusive ass and misses him hits one of the Drake entourage , so words exchange Drake walks over and Chris says "what" "what"  man ya know i dont play that way , i dont fight dudes padna , ask Rhianna - and then both entourages argue - Brown gets pimped slapped by a random Drake crew member and crawls to an exit ............ once outside and safe he jumps on twitter to be "hard" and get in some damage control and make sure the media doesn't know the only punch he threw in the whole fight was to hit another female !

Course i guess i could be wrong and he really didn't say "padna" but well took a chance indecision

I agree with most of what you wrote!

I still think PAU would be a nice fit, even at this age. Especially if he could spell some of Boozer's time on the court! Cut down his minutes some and he'll still be productive enough to warrant the pick up!  IMO

As for all of the other players mentioned, obviously, right now, those are the rumors.  I love reading trade and FA pickup rumors! Don't you?

There's a 90% chance we amnesty Booz next year and when that happens, Taj becomes the starter.  Pau has peaked as a player and is on the downside of his career.  He's got a poor attitude to boot.  I just want no part of restocking the shelves with a player that won't add much.  Don't forget we own the rights to Mirotic, a player with a pretty high upside playing across the pond.

I love NBA rumors, especially with so many terrible GMs in the league right now....**cough** MJ **cough**

MJ is the owner, but he was making most of the decisions.  We'll see if that changes now.

LOL @ Billy King.  Reading his list of moves is pretty damn funny.  I really liked this one: "Traded forward Joe Smith, a second-round pick in 2011 and a second-round pick 2012 to the Los Angeles Lakers for guard Sasha Vujacic and a protected 2011 first-round pick and a protected 2012 second-round pick from the Houston Rockets."

It's still raining.  It's raining the kind of bounce off the pavement rain that destroys things.  My back still hurts, as does my leg.  (whine whine whine - I know)  If it was sunny I would lie in the sun and let the sun bake my back and heal it.  When I phoned the Liquor Store this morning to let them know, neither the manager nor assistant manager were there, only the in-charge.  I got "whatever" from her when I said I had fallen and was unable to work.  At the time I didn't realize the Ass't Manager wasn't at the store, so I texted her, telling her I was not faking anything, I really f**king hurt myself!!! No response. So, that leads me to this:

Evening. Late evening at that.

After about a month or so of not watching any movies (don't know why, just was never in the mood to watch anything) I watched 'Adam' two nights ago, and 'The Station Agent' last night. Hugh Dancy and Peter Dinklage, two awesome lead performances. Also, I fell in love with Rose Byrne in 'Adam' - she's swell.

Going with 'Shame' or 'A Dangerous Method' tonight, or finish up Arkham City for the 2nd time to keep Batman in the back of my mind for another month.

Grocery shopping at my new place kinda sucks now. Used to live right next door to a Whole Foods, now it's a .7 mile walk, then get enough food/drink to last, but not too much to where it's too heavy to carry it back.

I seriously don't know how Janet guesses the sh** I draw on Draw Something. Some are so, so terrible.

I don't want to wake up tomorrow.

Hey all.  It's raining again.  I didn't go to work again today, my back and right shoulder are still not up to lifting 35 pound boxes all day.  In fact, I called my doctor's office today to see if I could get in to see him later this week, planning to return to work tomorrow, but worried about any damage I might do.  His intake nurse told me I am not to return to work until I am seen by the doctor (when I tore my rotator cuff three years ago, I continued working until I about passed out from the pain.  By then I had done so much damage I was off a full month).  So, they are fitting me in tomorrow morning before work.  We'll see what he says, but I already know I've damaged it again.

On a good note, it didn't rain this morning, so I spent a little time outside, actually used the left arm and planted three planters.  Got a little sun too!!

I really wish I liked basketball.  Honestly, I do.  I'm lost without some sport to watch on TV, but I get only a few baseball games, usually the bad ones, and with no hockey or NFL and CFL only on the weekends, I'm suffering withdrawals.

Damn right J, I knew from the first time you threatened to throat-punch me, that we would have a friendship that will endure.
