Blah, blah, blah, it's Africa hot down heeeeeer, blah, blah, blah, I drunk watched 21 Jump Street last night and enjoyed it. I felt like I needed to do a walk of shame out my front door this morning. That's what kind of guilty pleasure it was. So, umm yeah.

Driving through L.A. really made me appreciate Chicago traffic. Going home tomorrow for another week of vacation. Sometimes when you go on vacation you need a week to unwind before going back to work. So yeah...I thought of that this year.

Last night, fireworks was fun. They're on for tonight and tomorrow as well, but I've got other plans. But if you're in the area in the evening.... S.D. Symphony plays their Summer Pops at the Embarcadero, and the fireworks are coordinated with the last song. (Usually ends up around 9:30 PM or so. (Depends on the concert.)

We've had drought conditions, but have some areas (like the bay) that are still ok for them. However, we've had environmental lawyers (read opportunistic blackmailers) who have been filing lawsuits to stop shows.

Molly will be saddened as she would crawl thru the bushes eating her way from one end to the other. blackberries are just starting to hit their stride. had a few that are as big as plums. let the lawn dry out. who cares? less mowing is a good thing. any water expended goes to the flowers and berries. it is 8:13 on Sunday morning and that is all. over and out. The place was FULL because of the heat. I got to the theater 1/2 hour early and only had time to order a slice of pizza before the movie started. (I usually get Twizzlers, too, but they don't do the pizza AND the candy at the same counter, which is pretty silly if you ask me). All the girls in the theater were pretty rowdy.
