tsk tsk tsk.....I'm reading some type of baiting, and we all know what happens when that is seen and reported. laugh

Morning.

1. I'm going to see The Possession today. Early showing because it's cheaper. I also have plans to take Silent House out of my purse and watch it.
2. I watched Bill Mahr last night. He completes me. His beat down was classic, and I want to be Soledad O'Brien's friend.
3. Fight On!
4. Jason---I'm sure you are several ladies' "special" Q-friend. Bless your heart.

In honor of this special boob day, I'm having pepperjack and spinach stuffed boobs. I don't have a picture because I haven't made them yet, but they will be delicious.

I don't know if David Feherty is a permanent part of CBS's college football broadcast team or if it is simply for the ND/Navy game because they are playing in Ireland. But with gems like these, "So there are 12 teams in the Big 10, and 10 teams in the Big 12, and San Diego plays in the Big East. Do we not teach math and geography in America?" I say the make it permanent.

The margaritas are delish!!  Got the quad battery and a kit to repolish the lens on my quad display.  Also went to the second hand store (my friend's mom owns it) and got my daughter 4 pairs of jeans, a Lululemon hoodie,
Converse runners  and myself a Lululemon cover up - the pic is the pullover, but I got the cardigan type
and the grand total was $105.

ugh.  I don't have all night to teach you Star Wars.  And trust me I could.  The movies are just the beginning.

He is in a suit designed to keep him alive after he got his ass handed to him by Obi-Wan Kenobi at the end of "Revenge of the SIth". Between the suit and the power of the Dark Side, he tolerates life as he tries to eradicate all those who he perceives has wronged him.  During the battle you just watched, his son, Luke, convinces him he has been wrong, and so he "opens his eyes and realizes the truths of the light and dark sides of the force."

Cmon this is like Star Wars 101 people.

A woman was at her hairdresser's getting her hair styled for a trip to
Rome with her husband.. She mentioned the trip to the hairdresser, who responded:

" Rome ? Why would anyone want to go there? It's crowded and dirty..
You're crazy to go to Rome . So, how are you getting there?"

"We're taking Continental," was the reply. "We got a great rate!"

"Continental?" exclaimed the hairdresser. " That's a terrible airline.
Their planes are old, their flight attendants are ugly, and they're always
late. So, where are you staying in Rome ?"

"We'll be at this exclusive little place over on Rome's Tiber River called Teste."

"Don't go any further. I know that place. Everybody thinks its gonna be
something special and exclusive, but it's really a dump."

"We're going to go to see the Vatican and maybe get to see the Pope."

"That's rich," laughed the hairdresser. You and a million other people
trying to see him. He'll look the size of20an ant.

Boy, good luck on this lousy trip of yours. You're going to need it."

A month later, the woman again came in for a hairdo. The hairdresser
asked her about her trip to Rome.

"It was wonderful," explained the woman, "not only were we on time in one
of Continental's brand new planes, but it was overbooked, and they bumped
us up to first class. The food and wine were wonderful, and I had a
handsome 28-year-old steward who waited on me hand and foot.

And the hotel was great! They'd just finished a $5 million remodeling
job, and now it's a jewel, the finest hotel in the city. They, too, were
overbooked, so they apologized and gave us their owner's suite at no extra charge!"

"Well," muttered the hairdresser, "that's all well and good, but I know
you didn't get to see the Pope."

"Actually, we were quite lucky, because as we toured the Vatican, a Swiss
Guard tapped me on the shoulder, and explained that the Pope likes to meet
some of the visitors, and if I'd be so kind as to step into his private
room and wait, the Pope would personally greet me.

Sure enough, five minutes later, the Pope walked through the door and
shook my hand! I knelt down and he spoke a few words to me."

"Oh, really! What'd he say?"

He said: "Who f**ked up your hair?"

King's Court, 9/1/12.

(Photo courtesy of John Ryan. Yes, the Seahawks' punter)

I was there! See the arrow. Felix didn't have a very good outing...neither did Kyle Seager. Ugh. But we were there! Remind me never to sit in that section again; I'd rather pay a little extra and have our regular seats and be able to see the game. We got to see a few of his pitches but for the most part, the K-cards were in the way of the game. Here was my view for a good amount of the time Felix was on the mound:

I knew better. I even said before we bought the tickets, "we probably won't see much, with everyone standing up and waving K-cards all day." But the experience was fun, and I got a free King's Court shirt.

Not much going on today. Hope everyone is enjoying it!

Back from the Grand Prix. I had a great time. I know none of you give a rat's ass about the race itself, so I won't bother discussing it. I will say that Inner Harbor is the ultimate tourist trap home, which I think was best shown by the Hooters that was on top of a Bubba Gump.

Speaking of Baltimore, the Orioles won again after taking 2 of 3 from the Yankees this weekend (7 to go). The Yankees lost again today, so the O's are just one game back of the AL East.

It was a race on the streets of Baltimore, right near Inner Harbor and Camden Yards (pit lane actually was in front of the Warehouse). Thus, you could walk around Inner Harbor during the event, and all the shops and restaurants are chains geared towards tourists.

Bubba Gump is a chain shrimp restaurant. It is part of this.

Will is never happy unless he's in victory lane. Also, it's rich to see Team Penske whining about a jumped restart (which it wasn't) when they do it more than anyone.

Also, I don't know who Michael Clarke Duncan. I've heard of that name before, but I don't know who he is and what he was in. Sucks he died though.

Glenda, to elaborate in 2 seconds on what Eric said, the movie spawned a chain of restaurants because it was such an awesome name.  I never ate at one, but I do want to check out Bubba Gump Shrimp one of these days, wish they'd open one here.

They have one at CityWalk at Universal Orlando...we didn't eat there, only because I didnt know what kind of menu they had and how "shrimp-centric" it really is (it should be). Since I'm allergic to shrimp, I didn't want to take a chance of my food being cooked near/with shrimp so we didn't...but I would love to!

Personally, I like the options of chains and understand the need for them in touristy areas - even if the food is mediocre, you tend to trust a name you know. I'd be more likely to eat at a Red Robin or Chipotle than some random unknown burger joint or burrito bar. Of course, I love Red Robin and Chipotle, so there's that.

Normally I hate chains, but I made an exception for Inner Harbor because I was having trouble finding anything else nearby, and after about 3 blocks away from there, it gets seedy real fast. In fact, I had lunch yesterday at McCormick & Schmick's. In the beauty of street races, I could see the exit of Turn One out the window.

*sob* I love Michael Clark Duncan, in everything I have seen him in (even Kim Possible) but especially loved him as John Coffey.  As Glenda said, never has a book to movie been so on key with a character.  He WAS John Coffeey.

RIP

Got to watch CFL Football today, as I went to the trailer last night to see my son, who has been complaining that he was bored and lonely, but all he wanted to do was watch movies.  I wanted a fire and visits with other people too.  Today he made plans to go golfing but I was allowed to because I had missed work at the golf course yesterday due to my effed up heel, so they decided the boss's wife would likely have a hissy fit if I even went out of the golf cart.  So I came home and watched my Calgary Stampeders beat their arch rivals, the Edmonton Eskimos, by ONE point.  I gave myself a pedicure while I watched, and I must say, I did a damn fine job!!!

I can't stand Denny Hamlin and I hate that he has now won 4 races this season.

whoever created this title really should have put more than .00000005 seconds of thought into that.

Because if we were to be so childish, then:

1.  All of those who have never served in the military should never be allowed to celebrate Memorial Day (paying respects to those who died to give us the freedoms we used to abuse and are now in jeopardy of losing altogether), 4th of July (birth of our nation created by those who took up arms in defense of this land to repel the British), or Veterans Day (a day to honor those who wore the uniform for this country, As a Marine Corps Veteran, I think we shouldn't have only one Veterans Day just as I don't think we should have one BLACK  HISTORY MONTH--I think BOTH SHOULD BE DONE ALL YEAR LONG ).

2.  Since the internet was designed for the US Military and Combat Intelligence purposes (to keep the enemy from intercepting information being relayed from the soldiers/Marines on the frontlines to the Generals in the rear guard and back), then only those who served should be allowed access to the World Wide Web.

3.  Since Jesus was a Jew, then only the Jews should be celebrating Christmas, which leaves out the Catholics, the Christians, etc... to celebrate his birthday

Now, in light of incontrivertable facts, doesn't the title of said poll seem to be just a bit stupid and childish?

Just saying.

Ronald Reagan was an actor.
they still make and sell TAB in  limited quantities.

I know there are a few stores in South Florida where you can buy it.

I love that movie. Once pissed off my ex wife because I had STAR WARS, EMPIRE STRIKES BACK, and RETURN OF THE JEDI and watched them back-to-back-to-back on a rainy Saturday when she wanted me to take her to the mall.

Found out afterwards that her trip to the mall was just to rendevous with any one of her many lovers.

Today, we celebrate those who have taken a risk, worked hard, built a business and earned their own success.

Yeah, that's who Labor Day was created for.   What a douche.

There is an actual facebook page called ERIC CANTOR IS A DOUCH*BAG.

inserted asterisk so as not to incite riots of use of the word, jess. even though she used it in full.

personally, i think he drinks from one.

1.  I agree. No arguments.
2.  Al Gore invented the internet to help him spread word of global warming without having to leave the comfortable confines of his hippie tree house.
3.  I agree.  Plus...anything that leaves catholics out of anything makes me happy.  If you cant tell im still recovering.

Hope everyone is enjoying it!
don't tell me Seager didn't do well, he's on 4 of my fantasy teams.

Damnit!!!!!!!!!

THE GREEN MILE. He was the prisoner that could heal by sucking the death out of a person and heal with his hands. Great movie starring him, Tom Hanks, Barry Pepper.

No worries - he hit a 1-run HR last night. He just didn't do well Satuday fielding (or not fielding, as was the case) the ball.

I am a lapsed-and-I-don't-give-a-damn-anymore Catholic. When all the priests spend time behind bars for child molestation, then maybe, maybe, I might go back to the church.

Like Lisa Lisa sang in HEAD TO TOE: It's possible, but I doubt it.

thanks to my "friend" who wants to try to keep me off the internet because he believes that fantasy sports is a waste of time (although it is free and fun for me like spending thousands of $$$$ on his truck and car and the latest technological gizmo is fun for him when he's too cheap to pay the people that work for him barely above minimum wage) when working for him is a bigger waste of my time. Spent 3 days at his place working and all I got was $20. Then he tells me he can't understand why I can't make it in south Florida.

Gee, wonder why. Cheap bastard.
