Monster Chiller Horror Theater
It's creepy movie time and I LOVE indie / B ones. They are the best! So this poll is about the ones that were overlooked and lesser known, not the big ones everybody has already seen or know about.

Specifically, what horror / suspense films do you like that may have flown under the radar for most people? ***BONUS POINTS for actors we all recognize.***

Here are two off the top of my (severed) head:

Dead and Buried (1981) Starring the poor man's Roy Scheider, James Farentino.

Salem's Lot (1979) A TV movie based on the Stephen King book. It stars David Soul of 'Starsky and Hutch' fame.

Got it? Good. BOO!

Salem's Lot is a great call. In the same time frame, and under the radar, a movie called "The Sentinel" (1977) was hella scary to a middle school kid.

I'd say too many people have seen it (I think?), but it is awesome.

:D

Hmm...Since my choice was veto'd, my next thought was Trick 'r Treat (Rogue and that one old dude from the Bourne movies is in it) and Hatchet (Budddd and Freddy Krueger are in it). Both of those have been listed already though... hmmm...

I'm going to add Buried to the list, I doubt most have seen it but it was a bit disturbing (Ryan Reynolds is in it) and The Dentist (I don't remember who's in it, I'll check in a minute but I think it's Shawn's dad)

The Entity

Slumber Party Massacre

Soroity House Massacre

Motel Hell

Hard to Die

Lots of T and A in all these. The Entity is disturbing because she is followed and sexually assaulted by the entity and supposedly a true story.

Near Dark was a great vampire movie. I think I'm the only one that has seen it though.
