What would you do?
Im doing this poll to get some opinions and see what you guys and girls would do or think I should of done.

Heres the situation: Threw a birthday party for my 3 year old. Had a couple friends over with kids roughly the same age. The one kid for whatever reason picked up a rock bout the size of my hand, walks around to the front of my 16 month old boy and hits him in the face with it. Ouch.   Then later, that same boy pushed my 16 month old off of the side of a little castle slide. Prob bout two foot drop on his head. And then later threw a handful of little stones at my 16 month old. Now, as a parent, if it was my three year old doing these acts. they would be punished. The parents of the "bully" kid really didn't do anything. Made him say sorry and that was bout it.

Whats your thought and what should I do about it?

I would have asked them to leave.

Your "then"s were killing me. After the rock to the face, I would've had a "chat" with that kid. And THEN told his parents that they better watch him, get him, something.

Yeah.....dude, that's F**KED UP!!

I would of said something to the kid and his parents the 1st time and after the 2nd time, it would of been bye-bye...they would of been told to leave!  Hope your kid is ok?

there may have been a backhand thrown if that sh*t had pulled that on my kid

I would have got in that little kids' face and said "hey! we don't do that" with a real stern look on my face and shaking my head from side to side and wagging my  finger in his face.  Children can't be allowed to get away with such actions.

After the first thing I would have told the kid that was not a nice thing to do and I'm letting his parents know. After the second I would have told the parents and if something happens again that they would need to leave. After the third I would ask them to leave and wouldn't invite them to any more parties or events. But me being me, I would have spanked the kid and if the parents didn't like it...TO EFFING BAD! LEAVE!

I am not a parent and I don't play one on tv, therefore I will direct my response to the ultimate expert on punishment this day and age for the proper response.

I had that happen when I was still married; my son (who turned 20 on Friday) had a playmate a year older and bigger, and was pushing my son around in his room, taking his toys. All of a sudden, the kid comes out of my son's room crying, and my son comes out after him. Long story short, kid hits my son, my son punched him hard in the stomach.

Seems my son paid attention to what I was teaching him when I said that no one hits him without my son defending himself; that's why he was taking karate at age 3, besides the fact he was having fun with it. Kid's parents were upset about that, but it's my place, my rules, and I told the father (6'4", 320) if he didn't like my rules, he can get the f*ck out of my place and don't come back. Children should not be afraid in their own home from bullies, nor should they be afraid to go to school either.
