And..... we'll see you..... TOMORROW NIGHT!
Which of these World Series Game 6 left you numbed, shaking your head in disbelief, and in the most anticipation of the decisive game #7? Obviously for me its a no brainer.

I thought this was a quiz, not a poll, when I got the email! I would have answered MF-ing Don F-in' Denkinger blowing the obvious call at first on Jorge Orta in the 9th Inning of Game 6 in 1985. Yes, the Cardinals imploded the next 10 innings all by themselves, but you can't help to wonder "What if..."!

The relationship between me and that damn monkey is analogous to Ahab and the whale that crippled him.

This is a no brainer for me as well.

I was 8 years old, and it was the first time I ever heard my father drop the f-bomb.

The Puckett homer had me outta my seat though, even though I had no rooting interest in either team.  I liked Kirby.

No brainer....the way the Red Sox lost that game was extremely heartbreaking.  On the verge of winning their first World Series title since the early 1900s and only to see the Mets end up winning the title the next game.  Extremely heartbreaking!

Even though I am a die hard Braves fan like you, I gotta say that the game 6 winning home run by Kirby Puckett allowed the world to see one of the greatest postseason games in history.  The historic game 7 matchup between Jack Morris and John Smoltz!  Unbelievable game!  Even though my Braves lost, I gotta give credit where its due.  One of the great pitching matchups I have ever seen....in regular season or postseason.  I am sure that you would agree with me.

Not really.  I wanted the Braves to win.  I'm pretty sure that if the Braves would have won game 6 and ended it there, it still would have been considered a great world series.

Just one of many many heartbreaks that the Sox had served me since I had begun watching them in 1977-78.

But....as much as I disliked Bill Buckner, Calvin Shiraldi, and Bob Stanley for that whole game 6 debacle, all has been forgiven since 2004.

Oh, don't get me wrong.  I wish they would have won game 6 but that game 7 pitching matchup between Morris and Smoltz was one of the greatest in postseason history.  They were showing that game on MLB Network a few nights ago and it was great to watch.  Both men matched scoreless inning for scoreless inning.  Neither pitcher allowed a run for the entire game.

The fact that the Marlins had lost Game 6 in the 1997 WS after leading the series 3-2. Game 7 couldn't have been better with them winning in the bottom of the 11th inning.
