High on our horse?  Excuse me, but this from a Johnny-Come-Lately team?  Until Steve Superior, noone ever heard of Florida and usually scheduled them for a homecoming game because they were an easy W.  I guess recent success has gone to your brains, but in this league, TRADITION, CLASS, and OVERALL WINS gets you respect.   See you in Atlanta!

Recent success? The Tide has 2 Championships in the last 30 years....Most of Alabama's titles came over 40 years ago....That's a little long to be stuffing that into the conversation. Michigan and Notre Dame have a bunch of titles too, but they were a long time ago. What happened in the past doesn't matter to the present....

Yeah, I didn't stutter.....RECENT success! You guys only made a blip on the screen during the Ray Graves/Steve Superior era, and afterwards were homecoming cannon fodder. Charlie Pell began to turn your program aroound, and then Galen Hall did a good job as well. And, correct me if I'm wrong, but has Florida played in the BIG FOUR? Rose, Cotton, Sugar, and Orange? Does Florida have over 800 wins? Does Florida have over DOUBLE DIGITS in SEC championships? Does Florida have 12 national championships? If you want to say that the past is irrelevant, then your program is a true Johnny-Come-Lately! Again, I give the program credit where credit is due, but, until you hit Alabama's level of success, historical or otherwise, you are a program that has only recently experienced success.

I'm going with Alabama on this one!  I just feel that they are the better all- around team in the SEC!  Florida is great as well and should make it tough for the Tide.  LSU is, and always will be a pretender!

I never dismiss history and TRADITION! I have a massive amount of respect for programs like Notre Dame and Michigan.  Regardless of their recent woes, teams like that have the ability to flip their program over and off season because of the history associated with their programs.  That is where Alabama is now.  Those 12 National Championships, 56 Bowl appearances, and 21 SEC Championships put Alabama in a position to be a Powerhouse once again.  When you have that kind of history, a good recruiter can turn your program around immediately.  There are not a lot of programs that can boast that.  Florida is an incredible team.  Tebow is an amazing QB and young man.  Alabama has a different mentality these days.  After losing to Florida last year, I just cannot fathom losing to them this year.  Between Saban and all the new coaches and the talent on the field, losing to the same team in back to back years, in my opinion, will be "history" as well!
