Have I mentioned.. I'm weird.
So I was sitting here with my mom last night, and she goes, 'what are you doing with your foot'?  I said 'just bouncing it'.. she goes.. 'doesn't that bug you'?  I said 'no'.. she goes 'I have a weird habit of bouncing my legs when I am eating.'  I said 'I have a lot of weird habit that I do.'

So bare with me.. I have never shared these before.. but here are a few of my weird habits..
  • I play the air piano when i am driving.. I have no idea how to play, I just like to pretend.
  • with my right hand I do this..weird thing where I push the tips of my middle finger and my ring finger into my thumb, and then do this sort of dance.. middle finger up once then the ring up once, then the ring down twice and then the middle down twice.. and repeat till you find something else to do.
  • With my right foot I do sort of the same thing. second toe down, then big toe, back to the second toe and then the wee wee wee one.. repeat till you get a leg cramp.
  • I have one were I use both feet, its the same as my other one.. except the right foot is the second toe and the left is the fatty and the all the way home one.
I know, I am weird.. are you?

 I can bend my thumb behind the finger knuckles on my hands.  So the thumb kinda looks like it's growing backwards, and I do it all the time, kind of making my thumbs dance - I know - stupid.  I can also curl up in a ball so my knees are behind my ears, and I can touch the tip of my nose with my tongue.

I'm pretty flexible.

I sing in the shower, sometimes with music. 

I sleep only on my right side

I'm a ppl watcher. and not just at wal-mart, everywhere.. PPL ARE STRANGE.

I have a stare that will make you turn around.  its not a pleasant stare. (I developed this gift when I was married)

I crack my knuckles, my toes, and my wrists.

I will take your fries if you arent looking... and blame it on someone else.

If I hear a song I like alot I will play it over and over until I am tired of hearing it or someone tells me to pick another one..

 I just discovered I have the weird habit of being able to picture perfectly everything you wrote..I can even see the head bob in time to the pretend air piano.  I think I've become fluent in Randomese.

  When there was no cell phone law while driving, I used to hold mine up to my face, crank the original Broadway soundtrack from "Rent" and sing at the top of my lungs, thinking the phone would throw people off.

My food can't touch on the plate, I'm a stickler about that.

I'm terrified of potato tentacles.

I LOVE bugs.

Oh, and I can't eat rice without a tarp. It gets everywhere.

 I use any surface that works as a mirror and I always checking if my hair is fine, my make up, if my clothes are not wrinkled, the shoes, everything has to be perfect. Because Im always in front of students and they r always looking at u I try to look the best way possible, always clean and neat, It's like an obsession. When I'm at home is totally different and I can relax about that.

It relieves tension most of the time. My fingers and neck start to feel stiff if I don't stop to crack them every now and again. It drives my wife nuts.

 I hate fish. They creep me out. Does anyone remember the video for Epic by Faith No More? There was a fish out of water at the end of the video, gasping for air... and that was kind of the beginning of my fish fear! I stepped on a fish i the ocean once and nearly passed out! When we buy new fish for the tank, I can NOT be the one to hold the bag!! And I HAD to hold the plecco when we bought it... and the d*mn thing kept hitting my hand through the bag... ewwwwwww!!!!!! I cannot scoop dead fish from the tank with a net, and I definitely can't watch one going down the toilet!!

Oh, and don't even get me started on tree frogs..........

When I smoke a cigarette I got in such the habit that I look at it as if I was smoking a "J" ..   I know thats not weird but im smokin at the moment and it came to mind, OK so shut it !!   lol   (also for the Faniq Police,  the "J" is of course a brand of cigars, geeze the Keebs does no wrong !) lol

 My best talent is doing nothing. I do nothing better than anyone I know. If you ever got a chance to see me in inaction, you'd be amazed.

I'm also fidgety. I scratch my head when I get excited. I'll pull off my fingernails rather than clip them. I take "Southern pauses" when speaking, then return to the same thought ten minutes later in the conversation, much to everyone's confusion. In the classroom I pace back and forth in the front. I'm lazy but restless at the same time and swear I must have adult ADD.

And sadly, I can neither whistle nor snap my fingers.

Ok, my tree frog story...

I was letting my basset hound outside about two months ago. When she walks by me, she has this habit of turning into my leg to kind of sniff me...  So on this one hot night, I opened the back door and let her out, and felt what I thought was her wet nose on my leg, and I went to wipe it off with my hand... and there was this tree frog suctioned to my calf! It must have jumped up from the doorway when the dog went out... so I felt this small mound of wetness move under my hand and totally screamed like a baby!! I flung it outside and literally had to wash my hands about 6 ties and my leg twice that! {{{{{gag}}}}} 

Most of my weirdness stems from being creeped out by such things... fish, tree frogs, spiders (or just bugs in general), spider webs, etc.

this stems from an old job..

I have this habit of when I am scooping food, doesnt matter if its while I am cooking it or serving it out, or even just transferring the food to a bowl for leftovers.

I count each scoop.

Oh, that totally reminds me... I count the steps on stairs. I can tell you how many steps have been in my families' respective houses since I was about 6 years old. And when I begin walking up and down any stairs, I always have to start with my left foot... Is that a form of OCD??

 OK, here i go...
I have this nervous right leg, that bounces up and down, on it's own, much like you do. Most of the time i don't even know i'm doing it, and i have had it as long as i can remember.
I have to walk to the left of my wife.
I have to sleep on the right side of the bed.
I have to sleep with a body pillow.
I have to do some things twice, like drinking a beverage, or eating.
When going to a sporting event, my  ticket stub must be an even seat number.
And yes, i enjoy a good drumming to the oldies channel.!
